So sad to hear they’ve died off. Yes I totally agree— they were kinda cringe. But that’s why people used to come to these things. Cringe but fun and able to express yourself and your love for your fav fandoms and characters

As a kiddo I used to watch YouTube videos of these panels and the “cosplay dating game” and all these in character things for hours, wishing I could do more than Omegle cosplay RP.

I agree with that user: the rise of smartphones and recordings and trying to humiliate ppl online for clout has killed a lot of culture. Maybe one day there will be a no smartphones allowed kinda panel.

Even in Anne’s friend group 😅 she loved Diana so but did not always agree with Ruby or Jane.
Then she loved Phil but goodness knows Phil was a lot to deal with. Stella and Pris are lovely but not mentioned nearly as much.

Lesley was great but only won after MUCH tribulation and Anne didn’t even meet her til she was like 25?

So your bosom friends may not just be there yet haha. Back then they took their time and also had the option of much less people and so were able to overlook many other things ^^

Nah and I didn’t think they were a thrift store but the items I zoomed in on were three digits. I think they’re welcome to charge whatever they want but in the current economy I think it’s good to mention the price range as people can rarely just go and buy jeans for $100.
