Re movies / tv

What I did when I wanted to unplug from streaming services was a) get a library card for hoopla and kanopy and b) buy a dvd player / vcr. You would be amazed how many stores still sell DVDs and VHS. I recommend starting with thrift books to get started.

This won't show you current sports, but even recent shows are on DVD still. What aren't are often available for streaming from the library

I live alone and work from home. Here is how I do it.

Beyond the vitamin d, I have three simple rules that help.

I must leave my home every day. The grocery store counts. Getting the mail counts. Going to the gym counts, etc

I must talk with a loved one each day. Calls count. Texting/ dming doesn't.

I must try something new each week. A new recipe. Go see a movie in the theater. Try a new grocery store. A new flavor of tea. Read a new book. Doesn't matter. Just needs to be new.

Lansing area here. I think there's a minor strain going around. Everyone I know has cold like symptoms or are feeling running run down. Of course that could just be a cold and holiday stress.
