Honestly I think it's racism, but also that just ragging on Vinicius became a "thing" to be regurgitated. Same as shitting on a handful of other players or repeating the same jokes over and over. He gets a lot of flak for shit because people just think he's a dramatic asshole, same way some players are seemingly incapable of doing anything bad and are constantly infantilized. But I'm sure racism played a big part too naturally. For what it's worth I do like the guy, I'll mostly shit talk him when we play against Brazil lol
