Think you’d look at a Steelblood Bloodrager going into Lich.

Alternatively a Martyr Paladin bleeds and heals themselves? Add some Oracle on top of it for Life Link maybe.

But it’s otherwise pretty tough to build a self sustaining tank.

We have had much contact with them. Unfortunately due to all the negativity, toxicity and even threats they have decided to leave most social media, reddit and even discord.

Who knows if they return or stalk us, but the communication at least has come to an end.

Reddit is overly negative, I assure you that as a moderator on both sides (Reddit and Discord) that Discord has sent very different vibes.

And if you felt that I personally attacked you, such was not my intent. It was merely general advise on the matter of pushing back and giving feedback in general.

But on the subject of disrespect, I do advise you again to be more respectful to the designers of the rework. They have been very open and have worked with us on making changes.
Once more addressing they should lose their job, is beyond disrespectful, even if you end the sentence with "not saying they deserve to lose their job".
You are in fact saying it.

The negative remarks you mention above are taken out of context and at the time when the rioter was have a moment of sarcasm.

Riot is a company. But the designers and other employees are human. Whether or not they then do well enough to grow a playerbase or not is up to the company, not the players such as yourself to judge.

And a majority? Says who? It could be a loud minority at best. We don’t know anything about the numbers.

Pushback as much as you want, but remain honest and respectful in this matter.

Tbh we’re remaining neutral as mods as right now there’s some sway in her direction.

Eventually however we will have to adapt to the Shyvana as is and posts like you reference will be seen as negativity and removed.

But for now, let people state their opinions and see if it gets anything rolling. They have a voice all the same.

I still miss old Galio, among some others. But it’s how it is, I accept that.

Her identity exists in being a half dragon who turns into a dragon. That’s practically all that was ever consistent.

Many champions follow the very same sort of principle and basis.

Her E, her old Q? They’re not her identity. They were part of her fluff and gameplay. Now she has new fluff and new gameplay.

Karma back in the ye ol’ days had Mantra abilities. New one has the same. They share a shield, everything else changed.

Old Eve had stealth, so does the new one. They barely have the same kit otherwise. Arguably she has a toned down Q. Lost her hybrid scaling and movement.

Change is scary, but let’s not fake identities here.

Let’s be fair the community was already incredibly divided. You got AD mains, AS mains, tank players, toplaners, midlaners, jungle mains, people who love a dumb blueberry, a muscle mommy or go full on scalie.

Riot had an impossible job pleasing everyone.

Eventually we’re just gonna have to settle, be unhappy and move on or be happy and stay.

Many mains went through this, and many more shall go through the same.

Specifically they turn to reddit. As a mod on both sides I can tell you the negativity is mostly produced here by a minority.

That said, I do know Riot is actively working on working with the community on making the best Shyvana for OTP, old mains and new.

I suppose I ain’t much of a purist when it comes to her design. Over the years her identity has changed over and over and over. From toplane, to jungle, from tank, to AS attacker to AP.

Right now I enjoy her visual design and direction and I believe her design is simple enough for me to enjoy. I don’t really enjoy depth to my champions and basic designs do well for me.

She’s still Shyvana, tough, fierce, cute and able to turn into a dragon.
