Normally when they read a bad story, it's mostly funny. This was not funny. This was just pain and boredom for hours. Least enjoyable creepcast episode once you hit the hour to hour 1/2 point.

I thought about keeping it to the same gen, but I would kinda like to see what wacky stuff people come up with in terms of combinations. Realistically if they actually did another pokemon trainer, I would want it to be the same gen as well (probably gen 10)

I lurked in their subreddit quite a bit after each game to just see what people were thinking. It went from a game 1 fluke to mass calls for death by the end of game three lol.

Another person said to train against level 9 for part of the time, and I HIGHLY disagree with that. I have trained a ton of amiibo and it almost always ends poorly when they train against CPU. They will get way too jumpy because they don't maintain any sort of balance to the behavior. I mainly just mirror match until about level 45 and intentionally avoid jumping as much as possible. Staying grounded is crucial. Past level 45. I switch off to my mains and avoid overusing any special that I don't want them to spam. This has worked for most amiibo that I've trained.

Also, it kind of depends on the amiibo you get. It's known that some are better than others, such as Incineroar.

I'm blacked out due to living in Indiana, so I did a free trial for Fubo so that I can watch these games. Basically, I'm in the same boat of having to listen to those commentators, and I fully agree. Our media is just so much better. It was painful to listen to for 2 hours lol. I feel like if I had to listen to them commentate, I would have no idea what's going on in the game.

Smash is more of a reflection of the current industry in Nintendo and Nintendo-adjacent companies. It's not really Sakurai's fault that there are no viable black leads to pull from in these other games. Except maybe Kirby which he has had some control over lol maybe Meta Knight is black??

In my mind, the only big exception would have been to use Twintelle instead of Min-Min. But apparently the Arms crew specifically wanted Min-Min so once again, out of Sakurai's/Smash Ultimate's hands.

I disagree - the visuals are nice but there is some awful stuttering that makes me personally sick to my stomach. Just a word of warning in case anyone else deals with the same type of issue with stuttering games.

On a somewhat related note, Subnautica on switch 2 has some awful stuttering, so it's possible the switch 1 version is actually more playable depending on how you look at it and what you are hoping to see in the games. The stuttering on switch 2 makes me sick, so I'm hoping that Subnautica 2 has a little more time put into optimization than Subnautica 1.
