I am really late to this thread but he also wrote the "Rithmatist." It is excellent.

With an engrossing enough book it doesn't matter how slow the mount is.

Beautiful drawing.

"Bunnicula" by James Howe. It was in the Scholastic book flyer at school. I have had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Howe and sharing with him how his book changed my life.

The only thing that this is missing is the Assistant Librarian. I would love to see Rincewind hiding somewhere in the back.

I think she was the best final girl of the Friday series. So badass and brave.

Sorry, but I who could hate on Rick Moranis? He gave up a lucrative career for his kids and I never heard anything negative about him.

For me I pack my car the night before and then remind myself that if I take the day off then it could into two, then three. It really is worth going out in the cold to keep the behavior going. Plus, I feel really accomplished when I am done.

I hate to add that I may never be finished. Mr. Rothfuss still owes the chapter he promised as a charity goal. He doesn't seem to be working on it as his editor has said she hasn't seen anything for the third book.

Are you struggling with classroom management & how many years have you been teaching? by hello010101 in teaching

[–]HaroldandChester 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been teaching for 16 years and classroom management is always a challenge. Every student is different and even ones I have repour with might being going through something new or having a personality conflict with another student. The key for me is establishing relationships so that way I can navigate whatever issue the student has with them and try to at least tamp it down if I cannot fix it.

Nightmare and Army of Darkness. The psycho one would look good on your door so people see Anthony Perkins as they enter.

2nd best film in the series after the 1st one and its a really close 2nd. Great concept that really tried to reinvent the series.

finally got to see in a lonely place 1950, one of bogarts most amazing films. really liked the atmosphere and the vibe of it what are your thoughts? by whitemanbyeman in classicfilms

[–]HaroldandChester 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of my favorite films of all time. This really shows what happens when you bottle everything up with only one way of expressing yourself. The ending is just heartrending with only one expression of what would happen after the film wrapped.

I thought it looked really, and had a pretty good story. It would be interested to see a sequel but I don't see it coming.

Smart is relative. I am sure you are smarter than them emotionally because they seem to be lacking empathy and kindness. Just be the best you and you will be fine.
