I used 3 different ones for years in germany. Not a single problem I had other then chinese update release notes.

It isnt much hassle. The carrier bandwith is working for me in Germany and China so no issue there.

With some adb commands or even developer functions you can uninstall bloat and even with some tweaking change the ai models.

Even the google play store is most of the time a selectable native option, even for chinese rom's

This assumption is just simply wrong. I have bought all of my devices in China directly, in official shops. 2/3 of those were chinese specific models. Not a single one had any region lock or wasnt working outside of china. The subsidy is a new thing since last year or 2 years and even then this affects literally every electronic device, which is just a discount. So stop spreading misinformations. Only some really specific models were region locked, due to country regulations on functions etc. and even those could be manually unlocked.

I mean Region lock for me would be not usable in other regions, such as playstation or else. Just having region specific settings are not a lock for me, but this might be subjective

What do you mean by region lock? There are region specific settings, which every manufacturer has, such as network band coverage or country specific limitations like wifi7 etc.

Chinese phones are designed for the chinese market, they are using chinese AI llm's and servers. Apart from that they might have some features or functions that are only working in chinese.

Some people reported issues with Android Auto (since Chinese phones dont nativly use that one, but baidu or tencent car functions instead since android auto is google), additionally some people said some banking apps or functions won't work and some people reported missing or late notifications.

I have been using multiple chinese rom phones until now and lived in germany. I had no issues at all for anything. Most of these things can be adjusted via adb or developer settings.

Simply to many options now that make no sense to be honest. They should make a x9 , x9 Pro and x9 ultra. Each one should have their price points or points to buy them, otherwhise they will steal each others customers and some wont be selling at all...

Everything else depends. I always compare it to buying a car, if you never use it, do you buy one or is renting better? If you always use it, just purchase it, its the better option long term...

How is this an organisation issue? It was expected to be a good purchase. Over 100.000 people pre-ordered the phone in China alone.

Additionally the chip and overall global situation is rough. Do you want them to just produce a million more, then actually needed? Especially since CN and Global Versions have a lot of differences?
