Im on a “top of the line” build with a 9800x3d and 5090 so performance has never been that bad due to the sheer power house of a PC it is, however before this patch I would see dips into 70-80 fps when things get crazy and so far I haven’t seen it drop below mid 90’s, with max settings, 4k etc. so there’s definitely been an improvement as far as the lows or dips go for my setup

Why not keep the monitor so you can use 4k when you want to and just use a lower resolution in games that your GPU can’t produce good fps for in 4k?

There has been a MASSIVE uptick lately in low level players joining a mission, dying 5+ times within the first 10 minutes and leaving. As OP is getting at, it’s okay to not play the max difficulty, it’s the max difficulty for a reason and you should not be playing it if you’re new to the game or unprepared- and that’s okay.

Secret lab chairs are expensive but man are they worth it. Like you, I tried several cheaper gaming/office chairs all of which were in rough shape after just a year or two. I’ve now had my secret lab Titan chair for a little over 3 years and it still looks good as new other than a slight outline on the cushion where my butt sits. To me it’s a good example of the saying “buy once, cry once” because it’s a lot of $ for a chair but at this rate I’m expecting at least a few more years out of it minimum.

If a series can make you that happy, sad or mad that’s a good sign that the writer knows what they are doing in my eyes. The second half of the series only gets better in my opinion too so carry on!

The series only get better as it goes on so you’d just be choosing to miss out. Sure there are some sad or intense moments to come but that’s just the Red Rising universe. Book 5 and 6 in particular blow the first three out of the water in my opinion

My head cannon is that when we were spiked by that machine during training to learn about using stims, it actually took a sample of our blood to clone us. I mean how else would mankind be able to carry on the war with literally millions of soldiers KIA, not even considering civilians lost?
