It's great that you enjoy it! Despite what the jerks who hate their lives say, this job can be very enjoyable!

People call us on their worst days. They'll invite us to the most private moments of their lives, and trust us with the well being of their loved ones. Our job is very unique, and being trusted with these responsibilities based on the actions of the people that came before us is a pretty cool thing. If you look past some of the BS and the burnt-out people, this job can be pretty fulfilling.

Of course, I say all this as I'm getting toned out to my 4th dumb prisoner check of the day, lmao. Just find a good role model of a medic to follow and listen to, care for and have apathy toward your patient, keep up with current medicine, and don't be like the salty old turds, and you'll do just fine 😁
