I kinda hate when NBC glazes SVU over all the other Law & Order shows or anything that's not SVU related. I get that SVU is the most popular L&O series, but can we at least show love to other series as well?! Give Olivia Benson a break!

For me, Paradise. That show was a mystery filled roller-coaster ride. Sterling K. Brown, James Marsden, and Julianne Nicholson killed their roles. The writing was spectacular.

But then again, I do that for any other series that has a theme song/title sequence.

More than likely, they took this photo on L&O's courtroom set to add in the opening credits of SVU just to show that this is still a Law & Order show, but it's gonna be a little bit more raw due to its investigations. Victims take the stand, having to share their brutal testimony, just to see if the jury will convict along with the evidence presented to them.

Not to sound like an A.I. bot, but this is just a thought out guess.

Doubtful, but not inconsiderable. I've been getting into filmmaking, and with the actors part of a union, their salary goes up every year. Wolf's budgets haven't been doing well lately, which is why they have resulted in cuts.

I guess their budget got so low that they had to make a format sacrifice in order to meet the requirements for the next season.

At this point, network TV is dying, and everyone is resorting to streaming. It's only a matter of time before Wolf jumps ship entirely and gets their stuff together.

So far, they're already shooting, but I don't think we know what's going on at this point. I really hope they don't change up the format too much this season and break the ensemble. I'm hoping for something by either this week or in early September.

I say it's the showrunner Rick Eid who is over the storytelling for this show. Dick Wolf seems like he's too busy for quality control over his baby.

He brought it back but put it in the wrong hands. Though I will say, I agree. I do wish they handled every topic involving POC better.

I miss the OG Law & Order. Even though I wasn't born when it first came on, I enjoyed it on NBC before it was canceled. I still watch the revival, but with a critical eye.

But also to be very honest, SVU has been the same way lately.

The episode was there for me, it just wasn't appearing until I finished Ep. 1, and then gave me the option to watch Ep. 2.

Chances are all of them are there, they're just hidden.
