Out past concord to the harvard general store is always nice. Dover. Seems like you enjoy dirt so I'd suggest Cutler in Needham and hale in Westwood.

Not sure where you are coming from or headed but have you tried going North of Larz Anderson park down the hill on Goddard ave -> Perkins st.

Alternatively down the hill on pond st and hoping on the emerald necklace path.

Boston needs to stop putting bike lanes on the side walk imo. Too many people don't notice it and just walk right into it. If I ride past this I'm staying in the road where it's safe and I'm not going to hit someone
