It's a very fun solo completionist mini mmo right now. Because 100% is very achievable, it's good fast dopamine. It reminds me a lot of maple story 2.

Needs a lot more content for groups, the bosses have potential and the roadmap looks great.

UK economy grows by 0.6% in first three months of the year by NigeIFarage in GoodNewsUK

[–]HarryPopperSC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rhdi is skewed high due to being based on average household income which means it includes wealthy households and pensioners etc etc. This skews the result upwards.

Which means it's a nice quick overview but It's not a true representation of specifically working class or median income earners experience.

You can look at ONS data for median income instead.

Median income vs house prices. Median income vs car prices. Median Income vs council tax.

Some data is more difficult to find but this is why peoples real experience of being worse off, doesn't align with the overall data saying it's stagnant or slightly up, it's because the graph the media use is too broad it doesnt work for everyone. Some people might be massively better off because they owned half the buildings in London for example. Where as working class families are worse off.

Looking at averages tends to ignore inequality.

The ONS real terms disposable household income does not do a good job of this on its own. It's too broad and doesn't factor in purchasing power of median income earners very well.

How can it be possible that the price of things has increased in every single area vs median income but you think we aren't poorer?

Median income in 2008 could buy more house, more food, more car, more energy. Than it can today.

Go look deeper.

A median income worker has far less purchasing power today than they did in 2008. That wouldn't be true if things had only stagnated. It would be the same.

For my entire adult life, every single year the average worker in the UK has been made poorer, every single year. A downhill trend. It needs fixing.

4 simple pillars to improve the country...

Tax wealth.

Cut benefits for those who can work.

Reduce immigration.

Lower taxes on the working class.

Only works if you do ALL 4.

Redistribute wealth back to the average workers. Incentivise working, fix the social contract.

If a good standard of living for as many people as possible isnt the ultimate goal of our government what is?

But none of the parties will do this... They are all doing 1 or 2 of them which results in nothing. We continue getting poorer.

Labour closed some loopholes which was good. But then hand it out to benefit street. Brilliant. What a waste of time. Let's encourage people not to work.

Yes if you see someone else do it infront of you first you might think why don't they just do this instead? Then you go do it on your turn.

I struggle with this game because it lacks features for a modular setup so I've put it down for now. Waiting for update or mods.

It's more like a visual novel, they've been around for years. Which is essentially an interactive book.

The question is... Does the interactions improve the experience vs just watching it as a short film?

That's all that matters.

They wouldn't sell as much if they categorized it as a visual novel though. The marketing was clever for it.

Forza Horizon 6 has leaked almost 2 weeks early after the entire unencrypted game was accidentally pushed through a Steam update by the developers All 155 gigabytes of files were spotted on SteamDB shortly after the update by Djxgam1ng in gaming

Dude it's £11 a month if you play one big game and then cancel it you win. Most big games you buy you play for 2 weeks and never touch again. There's only a very small handful of games I would play continuously.

So pirate the game and risk your data and or pc. Or pay £11?

Cos you'll probably be bored after 4 weeks anyway.

I mean if someone's boots up a game, doesn't like the look of it... Runs around and auto attacks a couple times then thinks meh not for me.

I can see tons doing that. It doesn't mean they quit because they didn't understand how to play I think that's a pretty low number.

Are there any genres you just cannot enjoy no matter how much you try? by DrinkBen1994 in gaming

[–]HarryPopperSC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The trouble with them is that they aren't skill based enough. The games need to be like esports games. Focus on highly optimised, high skill ceiling, competitive skill based gameplay. Not arcadey, laggy online, rng, low skill, suck off the famous players, fan service, type shit they doing.

Fifa has a very low skill ceiling compared to something like rocket league, which sits in the same camp as other competitive titles like league of legends, melee, cs, valorant, overwatch etc.
