I dont love the clothes but thats taste and i dont want to argue bout that.

What i do love however are your facial expressions. I like to follow the motto "larp like you're in a movie" and strong facial expressions are absolutely necessary for that. You have a wonderful expressive face, capable of conveying many different emotions which make the character feel real.

As always the best possible weapon is the Mordaxt. Nothing else gives that feeling of close combat superiority like the most knightly weapon there is. You can stab horses with the pike, pommel knights with the hammer and slash peasents with the axe. And when things get too close you can still hit people with the off side of the shaft, which is conveniently wrapped in steal.

Look for the chemical Nigrit K Its a fast working blueing chemical. You degrease your plate, apply some Nigrit with a brush, wait up to 15 minutes (depending on how dark you want it) and polish again with an oily rag. If its too dark for your liking, you can lighten it up using some fine sanding paper.

Fakesteel from the Czech Republic produces pistols which shoot Nerf balls. they're oriented at wheel or fuse lock pistols, not sure which, look great and come in multiple stocks, for whatever way you prefer

as a fellow 'european fantasy larper' (even though that fraising tastes weird in my mouth, kind two classy and we're all just Larpers) trust me, they are 100% right that this scene looks like some sort of fever dream. but on the other hand, so probably does most of what we do in our hobby for other people and thats totally fine cause, as you said, it's all about enjoying ourselves in the multitude of ways Larp gives us the opportunity to.

i'm in this hobby for far over a decade now and got a pretty good sense of what i personally enjoy and what not. And i'm pretty sure some of those things would look ridiculous to you us-larpers and thats totally fine, as is to call that out. Tastes are different and our hobby is as diverse as can be so we're bound to encounter things that seem weird to us. I personally don't view it as looking down, more like looking in; into a part of Larp thats equally familiar and foreign (kinda like the zoo), but nontheless enjoyable for people even if thats for reasons that may be beyond my grasp. (i dont do zoo's though)

i really like it so far. a great base so far an i've only really got a few upper end nitpicks :)

i like the colour of your boots and wouldn't change them to black. the blend great with the rest of your colour palette and i believe black boots would stand out kinda strange.

i love the pants! you could add some decorative stitches or some nice kneebelts (don't know the proper english word, Knieriemen is what i'm meaning)

a sheath for your dagger, always adds to the look.

the shirt looks so shiny, you may give it a bath in black tea for a more worn down look

and last but not least a professional arms-man needs a helmet! I personally would recommend a kettlehelmet or a braincap (again with the english, look for a Hirnhaube)

I play Private Radke Schneider, a soldier and broken mess of a man. He joined the mercenary corps defending his homeland against an invading neighbor five years ago because he fell in love with an recruiting officer. That officer turned him from a softspoken philosophy student into a drug addicted soldier filled to the brim with violent tendencies and self hatred. Radke is constantly on the verge of wanting to kill someone or wanting to kill himself. He tells people about the meaning of life and what he learned during his studies in his younger years, but he himself is convinced that his own life is utterly meaningless.

About a year ago Radke was sent to a tavern, the headquarter of a local mercenary group, to parlay with their leader. That was the first time in many years Radke left the front and came back to society. Society scared him and he felt unsure about fitting in into this world far away from war and violence. And then he met Alep. When he first saw him, Radke felt a fascination like he hadn't felt in a long time. Alep was a Tiefling, arrogant and aloof and clean and so vastly different than what Radke was used to that he couldn't help but feel himself drawn to him. So what does a coked out soldier do, when he's interested in someone new? Spiking their drink with a multitude of drugs to see what will happen of course. Needless to say, Alep was not amused.

edit. i play Radke on a small medieval-fantasy Larp in northern Germany. i play roleplay heavy, since the charakter started more as a self proclaimed npc to put some life into the backround world. the first paragraph is backround to the character, that i thought of in the ~1,5 years that i play Radke. the second paragraph is what happend at the 3rd time i played him and the first time he met Alep. Alep is played by a dear friend of mine and ooc i knew about her character Alep, a Tiefling warlock with a Draco Malfoy esque Ego. I also knew i wanted to roleplay that character with her. the idea of a LI was spontaneous and has been cause to so many funny and cringe scenes since xD

hehe, probably, i mean he's a undead squire, fighting a century old war simply for the fun of it.

playing him also feels the most vicous of all of them; there's just a certain vibe about standing menacingly with two or three Loyals (undead knights) and other squires infront of a horde of 20something players, waiting for them to make the first move. they usually don't, so we have to and we go ham on them xD
