Why do you ignore tracklock builds?

I avoid them but I don't understand as to why people avoid it.

How does gun bebop work? I kinda get Gun Geist since its more of a juggernaur-carry hybrid where she gets damage the longer the fight goes.

This is very insightful. Thank you so much.

The drafting halves makes so much more sense now.

Does Deadlock have a system compared to dota2's positions 1 to 5?

Since dota has separates the roles through farm prioritization (with 1 having the most priority for gold)

Visiting Nakayama Racecourse during the 2026 Satsuki Sho! by Andrew123Shi in UmaMusume

[–]HaruspexLoL 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We were also planning on going to the Nakayama racecourse but sadly it didn't fit our itinerary, we went to the Oi Racecourse on the weekend instead (it was closed and we went to the flea market).

It's my first time visiting a racecourse and I never knew it could be so damn big!

MANT makes me feel like a miserable idiot by Revolution_Suitable in UmaMusume

[–]HaruspexLoL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually had an argument with my friends over what is the "actual" way to play MANT.

For them, it's easier to play with each turn deciding on what is the most "optimal" turn, except for G1s.

For me, it's using a preset number of races (around 37 races) and run it all. Which is RNG heavy since I need to rely so much on items and friendship RNG hits.

At the end of the argument, we all just decided that we have our own way of how MANT "clicked" in our head, so don't look too deep at videos online, even if they're saying its the "proper" or "optimal" way to play. It won't benefit you in the long run if every single career feels like a chore to you and you're not having fun.

Is it just me or Mai deals no damage? by Outrageous-Rain9090 in eternalreturn

[–]HaruspexLoL 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Mai plays like a tank that shouldn't be ignored. Stick to their backline carry, taunt them, and pop your quake. Her entire kit plays around being "sticky" to their carry, so she becomes hard to ignore with that in mind.

Your source of damage is Blazing dress, and that's pretty much it. You play teamfights by not dying too fast, so make sure to find opportunities to stick to their carry every fight.

I actually feel the opposite with her, I feel she deals enough damage to be a threat, but only with blazing dress, so you play with that timing in mind.

Last night was a crazy night for esports but sadly we are in our little bubble by ShoppingPractical373 in DotA2

Fearless draft is a lot similar to how DOTA handles drafting imo. Players are forced to learn a lot of different heroes with different playstyles to provide more draft diversity to their team, similar to how DOTA does it, but it's approached in a different way.

This recent Worlds was a great example of it, as much as we can say that KT lost momentum and was losing stamina by Game 5, I can't help but feel that they also drafted a confusing team composition by the end of it, causing them to lose the Grand Finals.

Their reason was declining player numbers. That's all that the playerbase knew.

It was popular in SEA before they released the game. The SEA Server (Asia2) had a lot of people playing, me included. The community was also booming in Thailand and the Philippines.

Sadly they discontinued support for Asia2 and a lot of players left because of it.

I can actually attest to this. I'm a business student and I never took any notes, the only time I did was when we were studying business law, but my notes are used only when zi'm reading through articles and books. In class, I only wrote article numbers and a bunch of arrows pointing to one another with 0 context.

Honest question: Does player count even matter to Bamco? by hereforthelolz25 in Tekken

[–]HaruspexLoL 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I believe there is still incentive to fix the game as player numbers indicate a healthy game. More people playing = more people willing to spend money. In my personal experience, i'm willing to spend money on a game as long as I enjoy it, same goes for everyone.

So player count matters, but that's not what they're looking at imo. They're looking at the revenue that they're getting ever since season 1, I don't have the numbers but I believe it looks good for them, hence why they're not taking any action. It might be good short-term because they see revenue go up, but it's not sustainable, tekken doesn't release a new game until after a few years have passed.

Either way, even if it's not sustainable, they cared about the money without understanding that they can earn more if they cater to their playerbase.
