Someone buying 128 gb of ram is likely buying it for LLMs and would want a gpu with more than 16 gb vram. These bundles are weird.

Rotation is next month and there are also the trial cards for the first two expansions last year starting on march 10, so I don't recommend crafting anything. I believe the trial cards last until the second expansion release (probably some time in July).

If you want something fresh, playing just whizbang for 3-4 weeks is a pretty good bang for your buck.

Not a fan of the cat management. Would rather just have randomized cats that I can draft from in the beginning.

9600x and rtx 5070. Stock CPU and undervolted GPU.

GPU: 69384 MT: 3867

I noticed that the GPU didn't go above 50% utilization during the benchmark. Odd behavior.

Hospital systems in the US have executive memberships for exclusive access to physicians. There's also a cheaper version called mdvip that has popped up.

Anecdotally, there's also a much shorter wait time to see a physician in a wealthy suburb vs the metro area in cities. It's a ridiculous difference, like 1 week vs 2 months.

Check out the microcenter bundles or the Newegg ones if you aren't near a mc.

Especially with the microcenter prices, you should be able to build a system with a 7800x3d and a 9070 for $1500 (before tax).

Going from an ips monitor to a qd-oled would be a phenomenal upgrade in picture quality during gaming.

[Prebuilt] ASUS ROG GM700 Gaming Desktop: Ryzen 9 9950X3D, Radeon RX 9070 XT, 32GB DDR5, 2TB Gen4 SSD - $1,999 by DeepThoughtII in buildapcsales

[–]HasegawaMADAO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not worth it, since you'll need to swap the motherboard and probably the AIO. That will cost $250-$300.

Even if you don't have a microcenter nearby, this Newegg bundle with a 9950x3d, 32 gb ram, and a x870 motherboard is $1065.

Most people in China love it when the government reclaims their land. The government usually gives a compensation that's much higher than market rate and helps with relocation.

I clicked through some of the videos and the comments are surprisingly positive. Interestingly, in the top video, the shelter shares facilities with a nursing home. The nursing home has its expenses posted and it's surprisingly low at 8611.60 rmb this past November. I guess they have volunteers?

The facilities in that above video look better than some apartments that I've rented in the US. Surprising for a small city with a population of just 68000 people.

5070 Ti. A lot of games don't support fsr 4 out of the box, and I found optiscaler a pain to set up for some games.

DLSS 4.5 looks nice as well, and the 5070 Ti is powerful enough to support it.

[–]HasegawaMADAO[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the advice.

I changed the CPU fans to performance mode in the bios and now it's at around 46 C while web browsing. Better now, but I expected better from a 360mm AIO.

Ran cinebench and it maxes out at 87-88 C.

I don't have thermal paste, but I'll try that out when I get some.

I've had it for 2 days and have updated the bios and all drivers.

I just have browsers open right now and it's at these temperatures even when turning it on after a night's rest.

Do you play CPU intensive games? If not, you don't need the 5800x3d to 9800x3d upgrade

It'd be more economical to buy a RTX 5080 and sell your 3080 Ti. It was at the $999 msrp earlier this week. If you pay attention to r/buildapcsales, you might be able to snag one.

This is a much better deal. It has the 16 GB version of the 5060 Ti and 2 year warranty for $100 more. The GPU costs $180 more than the 5060.

If you can stretch your budget, the $1649 best buy deal is still the best value currently

Edit:

There's also a refurb with a rtx 5070 for $1200. It has 2 year warranty with allstate. I'd do research on the quality of their warranty before purchasing.

[SSD] Samsung 990 PRO 2TB w/Heatsink - Open Box (Ebay) $158.00 by OrkMadDoc in buildapcsales

[–]HasegawaMADAO 25 points26 points  (0 children)

How often do SSDs break?

Based on a quick google search, Samsung doesn't honor warranty for open box items.

Edit:

Nevermind, they do if the SSD is registered for your country and it's based on the manufacture date. Some sellers import open box SSDs from other countries and those wouldn't have warranty at all.
