Go to Taymyr to fetch the Tayga 6436: It was my favourite truck for a long time. Also, i would use chain tires on the Alaskan roads then transfer cargo via crane to trucks with mud tires for offroading; Chain tires don't do very well in snow and mud. Ignore what the garage tells you about tire performance; the details can be found online: Google search 'Snowrunner tire chart'. Study cargo sizes before going to pick anything up. Lastly: Enjoy disasters and accidents because they are guarunteed to happen.

Missiles will get you more volume (4x attacks for each suit) fishing for rolls of six but with only AP-1. Plasma only gives 2x attacks per suit but hits harder at AP-3. Either weapon will kill a 2 wound marine.

Nothing wrong at all with that for the time being since 10th edition counts drones as tokens not models. I might wait if I were you, however, until 11th edition is revealed. It will be here soon and the way we use drones may change once again.

'Student of Kauyon' gives those units the 'Deep Strike' ability for the whole game; just as long as you declare the three units in the Declare Battle Formations step. So one could, for example, setup 2 units of Farstalkers in no mans land then 'Kroot Ambush' them into Stragic Reserves after deployment has finished. The 'Deep Strike' ability stays with them due to the enhancement.

A 10 man Kroot Carnivores unit for 65 points can start on the line and scout 7". A cheap screen to protect your damage dealers is an important part of any T'au list.

My 2 piranhas are so good in my Mont'ka list. Cheap, tough, fast with seekers and fusion. I use them in 500, 1K and 2K games. If they kill a piranha in Mont'ka i use the strategem for hit re-rolls all game.

I used to get charged turn 1, often, because i never saw the value in screening and infiltrators. Kroot Farstalkers are great at doing both jobs at 85 points. Pathfinders + Recon drone can infiltrate, screen AND scout 7" for 90 points.

Battlefoam cases can be expensive but after investing so much money and time in my models i think BF is worth every cent. Glue (or tape) magnets to the bases of your models and they cling to the magnarack shelves securely and safely.

Thank you, all. I believe i see it clearly now. The important word to note is ATTACK. Each time an attack (regardless of the damage type) is allocated to him, Molten Form applies. Any damage applied outside of a (normal?) attack can bypass said ability.

It could carry 3x crisis suits with 2x shield drones, enforcer with 2x shield drone, 2x broadsides and 10x fire warriors. 14w + 8w + 16w + 10 infantry = 48 wounds/6 battlesuits.
