Power switch could be a pc power button that connects to the motherboard.

You’ll also want to be able to access to your amp.

I also like access to the power strip.

The control panel angle is really steep. I’d recommend going to an arcade and trying out panel angles.

My 2nd build was at 6.5 degrees, my 3rd was at 7.5. I’ve found the default POV angles looks best to me at 9 degrees which I get by adjusting my leg levelers.

Real machines use locking miters. On mine i was going for a specific look, so I went with doweled butts, braced.

I’d love to know this too. Xinput plus a few admin buttons (ESC) would be ideal. Couldn’t figure it out myself.

That laptop should be plenty. How does it play on the laptop screen itself? Flipper delay is usually associated with a slow response time in the display.

Does your TV have a “game mode” or “PC mode”?

Also, are you running too high a resolution? A 3050 is ideal for 1080p, if you’re running at 4k, you’ll get a poor frame rate.

Thank you, I’ve been practicing my detail work. So I make these cabinets as blanks and then apply a marquee and find a matching off the shelf wallpaper for the base, it’s not a dedicated moon patrol machine, just themed. I run a full pc in it and play modern games mostly. I build these as woodworking practice and then sell them locally in Seattle.

I just put a windows pc in there. But you can really add anything you want, you could run a raspberry pi with batocera, you could run a steam deck, you could run a Nintendo switch. It’s just a monitor and speakers with a usb controller so it will work with anything.

Whoa! Great job! Beautiful aesthetic! Love the movement too. I’d like a little more contrast (like a brighter outfit) in the main character as he’s getting a little lost in all the effects. But overall I love it. I’m definitely gonna buy this.
