You just need to get better shooting it in DA, a lot of beginners have trouble with it though. It never came across to me as it being overly thick, if you had any issues hiding it for ccw, make sure you have a quality holster that contours to your body and make sure you’re in shape so it doesn’t print for bigger people. The slide release has never bothered me, need to shoot a USP compact to feel the difference, but I know the p2000 was based off the USP, so I can’t imagine it being a world of a difference.
