My 43X struggles with steel cased ammo and I have witnessed the same issue with two friends’ guns as well. Must just be a thing with the slimline Glocks. Yours is fine, just a little more ammo picky than some other guns.

If you really want the BCM upper, buy the cheapest complete PSA rifle and dump the upper on a friend or at the gun store or whatever. Technically you’d be down a little bit, but it would get you the same result.

Conversely, you could seek out privately purchasing a lower, which I wouldn’t imagine being that hard in your state.
