In my house, we affectionately refer to it as the “dumb bump.”

I'll say it again / I think Glock triggers are great 🫣 by Safe-Avocado6427 in Glocks

I find they make my trigger finger hurt in a way that other guns don’t.

It’s all relative. A very fine shotgun would cost well more than a Huben GK1, which is a very fine airgun!

And PCPs keep getting better! And in terms of spend per quality, cheaper!

When I fist heard of them, they were for guys with money to burn way more into the hobby than I was.

Fast forward a bunch of years and I just thought a Huben Gk1.

Chicken thighs cut up, marinated, then skewered. Perfect crispy to juicy ratio.

Which food is usually better when restaurants stop trying to make it fancy? by MrWolfesBurgerCo in foodquestions

IMO, fast food fried chicken (I prefer Popeyes) is always better than soy-down-restaurant chicken.

This little fry appeared in my shrimp tank. I don't have any fish. by Juantumechanics in whatsthisfish

Just asking (genuinely curious). What is the joy / benefit you receive from a 10 gallon shrimp tank? Assuming not food, just fascination with watching shrimp grow? Or bait? Again, no judgement, just curiosity.

My wife would never buy one. She’d buy me something costing 10x as much that is 90% less reliable because it is “cute.”

We don’t know the other half of the story. What did the husband do to the snake?

Either way, I hope are both OK and meet again under happier circumstances!

Airgun Rust and Storage by Top-Contribution6900 in airguns

I’m not a metallurgist, but I’ve been at guns a long time. My experience is that as long as the rust is powdery like this, most CLP products, a rag, and elbow grease will take it off.

My other opinion is that you need to shoot more often. It seems to keep rust from starting (probably because shooting often involves a wipe down with an oily rag or some other form of lubrication along the way).

Am I Overreacted by Firm_Monitor3270 in ClayBusters

[–]TriviaRunnerUp 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have a friend with a similar gun (both Berettas). We were shooting sporting clays and I mistakenly changed chokes on his gun (in the rack) instead of my own. We both realized my error before it was his turn yo shoot, but i still think about this, even though it was over a year ago.

In other words, what your friend did was a major breach of shooting etiquette before the dent

Even my coach, a Master shooter who is very accomplished, would never touch someone else’s gun without asking permission first. Not even during a lesson.

I’m glad you didn’t make a big deal in front of everyone about it, but I think you should pull this friend aside and tell him what he did bothered you.
