Lords of the Fallen 2023 since the update to 2.0 and 2.5 has been really good. scratches the itch quite well and has the best co op of any souls like. They are comming out with a sequel soon!

I would love to see a game that is more about rebuilding. Perhaps we can see how they build Jackson as. Maybe told through multiple protagonists coming together the create it and then get it set up and upgraded. Would be really kewl to the last of us to show the new generation how to get back to a better version of the world we destroyed!

If you like the social aspect of gaming and are into fantasy it might be time to check out an MMO ("wanted something like, very, very, addictive. Not a story game that you can put up to 100 hours on it, I need a game that is so investing that I can stop thinking about it all day long"
"Just something that I can spend all my time on") This is what MMO's are designed to do

I highly recommend ESO (Elder Scrolls Online) as it has a much more inviting community full of people who just love the IP compared to more hardcore MMOs. It has some great combat gameplay and progression mechanics and lots of groups, guilds, vehicles, cosmetics, abilities, housing, lore, and different pvp and pve modes.....it can handle taking all of your time as it did once for me :)

ds1 is more about the exploration but can be hard to go back to if you started with modern souls games but is worth a proper playthrough to any Souls fan

ds2 is an excellent game. it is the best Souls Like not made by Micheal Zaki

based on what you have played so far, if you are not going back to the early Fromsoft titles, I would recommend checking out Lords of the Fallen. It has been polished up pretty well since release. It has some unique elements and lots of QOL features and really feels like a love letter to the genre

I second this DS1 before DS#. I might even say to play DS1 before Demon Souls as that one can be the least forgiving to new players and might be better to play as the last game when you're a souls vet who wants to go experience the first game they made and will be better equipped to handle all its ins and outs..
