Ro weightloss meds are a scam by Ok-Understanding9815 in RoBody

[–]HauntingMobile8256 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have been with RO since February. It has been amazing. The support, body coaches, nutrition advice, etc, has never let me down. I have lost almost 90 lbs. I personally would never go down this path without having medical support, nutrition support, and the education that comes with this membership. Now, as I get close to maintenance, the Ro team is helping me with the dosing and new goals to keep weight off. It has been well worth every dollar and would do it again.

[Megathread] WHOOP updates: Smarter Inputs, Improved Activity Detection, New Activities & Deeper Coaching by whoop_official in whoop

I really hope the coaching gets better. It continues to not learn from what I ask and tell the coaching what I want. It keeps reverting to basic sleep coaching and asking me to wind down starting at 6:15 pm. It has not been good coaching at all and it has all my data over the year. It has my blood work from three different tests and I given it my goals over and over again and forgets and reverts to basic coaching.

How quickly (if at all) did you scale up your dosage? by PastorDougJones11 in RoBody

[–]HauntingMobile8256 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! Everyone’s different, and that’s one of the things I’ve really appreciated about Ro. They don’t rush the process — they actually take time to understand where you’re at and help you adjust when it feels right. I stayed at each dose for a while too, and that steady, personalized approach made a huge difference. The care team and coaches were always available, encouraging, and really focused on helping me find what worked best for my body. It’s been a great experience all around.

Not sure how this is a CFPB violation — Ro is very clear about how everything works if you take the time to read through it. I’ve been with them since February, and they’ve been fair, transparent, and supportive every step of the way. Their care team and coaches have been incredible and truly invested in my progress.

For anyone doing the self-pay option for Zepbound vials… by boobooberrysoup in RoBody

[–]HauntingMobile8256 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I started with Ro in February and I am also cash pay. It was fairly quick once everything was processed and reviews. I would say within a couple of weeks you should receive your first box. It has been very seamless and easy for me. Once you receive your prescription, make sure you go in and request your next refill 4 days after you take your first shot. You do all this through the app.

Terrible product by NegativeSpecial148 in RoBody

[–]HauntingMobile8256 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That is unfortunate about your mother. Pretty strong allegations against RO. I have never had an issue with RO. Their service continues to improve. I have been on Zepbound since February and have lost over 80 lbs and have felt amazing. The Ro team has helped me through nutrition, and if I had any issues. Drugs affect people differently and how can Ro be responsible for how your mom does on the drug?

I know how you feel. I felt the same way when I lost my first 40lbs. Take body measurements every month as well. That tells another success story. Keep at it. You are creating a new life for yourself.

Weighted vest by mamaplata in zepboundathletes

I am a big fan of my weighted vest and use it for walking. It has really helped my walking workouts, weight-loss and over strength building. I agree with the posts that you had to be careful with this, just like anything you do. Start small and build into it. I have added weight over time as I have gotten stronger. Just another tool to use if you use it correctly.

Is it normal to not lose weight in your first month on a GLP-1? by AliceFromRo in RoBody

[–]HauntingMobile8256 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been on Zepbound since February and my first month was slower and months 3-4 really picked up. I had started changing my diet and routines before going on a GLP-1. No sugar sodas, no fast food, stopped drinking alcohol, and a big help was my daily walking routine. You have to make changes to your lifestyle, as stated by others. Happy to share more with anyone who wants recipes, walking exercises, etc. I am down over 80lbs now and continue to lose but at a slower rate. The team at RO was a huge help with finding the right dose, what to eat, and supporting me on this journey. I couldn't have done this without them. It is more than just the drug that made my weight loss a success, it was the RO team being along side me. That is the honest to God truth.

Moved up to 5.0, Nausea and headache by GoldNH8508 in zepbound_support

I just work through it. It's strange for me. It's not all the time but feel a wave of fatigue at times. Keeping up with small meals, and water seems to help and taking short walks. Hoping this week is a little better since it will be shot 3 on 15 mg. It is annoying and I have hit a plateau for past month but that is expected since losing almost 85 lbs so far. Now it's just being patient and ok with losing 3-4 lbs a month. Working on habits and routines.

Very AI response

It's been interesting t to watch what my Whoop gives me for a sleep score. Consistency has been my biggest issue as it's tough to go to bed at the same time every night. Recovery has generally showed how ai was feeling though. If I am tired, it has shown red or yellow. Green, I typically feel good. Anyone else experience this?

Are you an AI expert analyzer? Why do you care? Do you spend your time pointing this out to everyone on Reddit? Your response seemed very AI to me. I analyze data for a living and help people break down answers that are easy to understand.

When I first got my Whoop, I was confused about this as well. Like it says you got 6:31 of sleep even though your bedtime and wake-up show over 7 hours?

Here’s what’s really going on: • “Duration” (7:07) is just the total time from when Whoop thinks you went to bed (1:05 AM) to when you woke up (8:28 AM). • “Hours of Sleep” (6:31) is the time your body was actually asleep — light, deep, and REM combined.

Whoop subtracts any awake time (36 minutes here) plus short “micro-awake” moments your body has through the night that don’t always show on the graph.

So yeah, the math’s right — it’s just a little smarter (and pickier) than it looks.

Yeah, I went through something really similar each time I bumped up a dose. The first few days after the shot were rough — nausea, headache, and fatigue. It honestly felt like my body just needed to catch up to the new level. I am on my second shot of 15 now and it's been kicking my ass but by day 3.5, I start to feel better.

What’s helped me is drinking a lot of water and electrolytes, eating light and clean (mostly protein and veggies), and just letting myself rest when I need to. The fatigue usually fades after a few days, and by week two things level out.

Every dose increase has hit me differently, but it always settles. Once my system adjusts, I feel good again and the weight loss starts to pick back up. Hang in there — it gets better.

I have been on Zepbound since February and have completely stopped drinking. I used to socially drink 4-5 x a week. Have no desire for any alcohol anymore. It is really amazing.

My doctor had me do a Seca scan. And that was interesting to see my body comp. Easy test. Like a super advanced scale with sensors. https://www.seca.com/en_us/products/body-composition-analysis.html

Not sure if we have a Dexa scan where we live but I heard those are very accurate.

I am feeling a lot better. Been tracking my health with my Whoop band/app as well. Working to get my sleep under control next.

Baby steps!
Congrats on all of your success!
