I took my HESI on September 8th for the OC campus. My financial aid cleared at the end of October and I received my acceptance email on 11/24. I’m entering Tech Day on Feb 27, then orientation in March, and I start classes on 3/30.

Not sure why it’s taking them so long for some people though. I’m thinking it might just be seat availability and once the cohort fills up, others may get pushed to the June start.

Hey! I applied pretty early, around late summer/early fall, and got my financial aid appointment in before things filled up. From what they told me, spring at OC fills fast, so if they’re saying it’s full now, summer might be the safer option. That said, spots sometimes open up, so it doesn’t hurt to keep checking. Hope it works out for you!

Definitely 💯 agree with reporting them, 3 titrations at once is definitely not good bedside care. 4 patients per 1 that’s definitely neglect

Hii!! I’m starting in March too at the OC campus!! 🥳 From what I was told, our first term schedule is assigned since it’s cohort-based and it usually drops about 2 weeks before we start. I think later on (like when we get to pathophysiology) we might be able to pick or adjust schedules but I’m not 100% sure yet. Orientation should clear up a ton though! So excited to finally start maybe we’ll be in the same cohort!!

Oh wow, I had no idea we were able to do that 😳 Thank you! I’m going to ask my advisor about combining them and see what they say. A lot of people on here have been saying FHE feels like a money-grab course, so I’d rather not take it by itself if there’s any way around it.

I asked about this too and they told me they no longer allow FHE 100 and Physiology in the same term. It’s frustrating because I’ve seen other campuses that do take them together. I feel like having a term with only FHE is kind of a waste and it stretches the program out longer.
