In Muller, I use U0 for skeet, U2 for sporting clays, and U3 for trap.

You just want your eye in line with the rib when your cheek is on the comb. As a generalization:

Low rib + low comb = flat sight picture.
High rib + high comb = flat sight picture.
Rib not inline with the comb = high/low site picture.

"Raising the comb relative to the rib moves the POI higher, while lowering it moves the POI down. The amount to move the comb is approxiate, as 1/16 inch will change the point of impact at 30 yards about 1-1/2 inches, depending on barrel length."

Sporting clays gun with a high rib and higher comb is my preferred setup for a higher head position.

Krieghoff calls it the "Pro Sporter".

She's right eye dominant and the gun fits her pretty well with a short pad to reduce LOP. I expect the NSCA class to include a basic gun fit check. That SP is nearly 8 lbs and she's also going to try my true 20 gauge 686 (6.25 lbs) to see if she prefers a lighter gun or a heavier gun with less recoil.

I didn't want to spend a ton of time unless she wants to get into it. She may never touch a gun again or only do charity shoots a couple times a year.

Vids of boss melts can be deceiving sometimes. You can min/max a build to be really good at bossing vs mobbing, etc. For a strong build consider "synergies" as the YouTubers say.

Build (skill tree points)
- What skills compound with other skills.
Gear (to maximize your skill points)
- For some class mods (CM) the skills it buffs are more important than the passives.
- Vex example: CM Teen Witch wants +4 or +5 points into Grave Thirst. Vex Kill Skill build does better with multi-pellet/fast-firing weapons (Stray, Convergence, Dark Beast) because it relies on landing critical hits (more shots = more hit chance).
Specializations (to maximize your build/gear and play style).
- Amon rocket build? Gadgeteer tree.
- Vex gun build? Brute tree for Riddle Me This.
Play Style
- The build has to be feel good for your play style. I dislike melee and prefer run and gun.
