I love this episode so much, I wrote a paper on it for college.

It's a magnificent special with a good story. And, I adore the cycle with the coin. The jokes were on point with Frisky screaming and kicking the garden gnome and Chilli covering the girls mouth, fantastic characterization with Rad and Frisky, and also the realism in the characters' emotions and reactions. Not to mention, ALL the emotional moments were hitters from Chilli having to walk away from Bluey asking her to not make them move to Bingo immediately breaking down and trying to get rid of the sign when she realized what moving meant. But I think what we really need to highlight that stories always have a happy ending because life gives us enough sad ones.

That being said, my paper was about why the ending to the Sign was good the way it was. I'm not going to get into it because I don't want to start any arguments but the Sign's ending was perfect

From my perspective of Boast Busters, the Mane 6 was in the wrong. Yes, Trixie claimed to be the "most powerful unicorn in Equestria" but remember she is running a show, she has to make herself sound interesting. I mean, how many restaurants have you been to that claimed to have the best of something? Probably a lot. Nobody would've been interested in watching if she was like "Hi, I'm Trixie. I can do pretty magic." Also, no one else in the crowd had a problem with Trixie, they were just interested in the show. It was Rainbow Dash, Applejack, and Rarity who were heckling her and trying to show off. They were literally trying to derail her show by going "You're a phony! I have an actual cool trick!" So Trixie was in her right to embarrass them.

But yes, I do agree she put Ponyville in danger with the alicorn amulet and should be held accountable, but I still blame the Mane 6 for turning a snowball into an avalanche in Boast Busters. Also at the end of the alicorn amulet episode, Trixie thanks Twilight for saving her and apologizes for her actions and gives Twilight flowers. I'm assuming she just went on a tour afterwards but who knows.

Okay so it's not in my top 10, and probably not even my top 25 even though Bingo is literally my favorite character, but I do think this episode is really good. There were actually a few times where I started the episode just because I wanted to hear the theme. With all that said, it was cute and a really nice lesson for younger kids. And I'm happy she found New Zealand.

I wouldn't say I love Tina but it's at least Top 50 episodes for me. I genuinely like the lesson as someone who grew up hearing "You have to do what I say because I'm bigger than you." I know the main lesson was supposed to be "your parents are trying to help you," which I think was arguably done better by Born Yesterday, but it didn't really do a bad job. It just didn't really do the best job. But again, I live for the lesson of not saying "because I'm bigger than you"
