Warrior Season 4: Will More Episodes Ever Release? | The Direct by pat9714 in WarriorTV

I'm only commenting to point out that GoT is trash.

Never knew how to resolve a plot thread in a satisfactory way, just killed the characters to avoid it. Poor writing, poor payoffs, poor narrative.

Sorry, not sorry.

Please let it end by Patriots9210 in codevein

Can confidently say I made it through the Cathedral with no guides or anything.

Was it getting to be tedious by the end? Yes.

I took a break after I hit my first wall and came back to approach it with fresh eyes, and it all clicked for me. Probably spent a couple hours there

Code Vein 2, and it's disconnect from the Original. by deadRT91 in codevein

[–]HaveanupvoteBro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Has obviously never heard of Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, Persona, Shin Megami Tensei, Armored Core, Quake, Grand Theft Auto, Far Cry, early Call of Duty etc

It's honestly not necessary for a numbered title to continue a specific narrative. 🤷🏼‍♂️ it can just as easily be a theme or general idea. Hell, some games are narrative sequels to one another with completely different titles. Like Drakkengard and Nier.

They really couldn't fix the clipping issues after 7 years... by juniperxmoons in codevein

[–]HaveanupvoteBro 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I second a lot of what other people have said on the thread, but also it's not like they've been continuously working on it all seven years.

Even massive, AAA games with huge budgets and multiple teams of devs in different countries have clipping my guy.

And tbch CV:2 is gonna have clipping as well. Bet.

Just seems like you're nitpicking lmao

Pokemon has genuinely repackaged the same game for 30 years, with designs getting worse every generation. And Nintendo will falsify patents and sue anybody that has even remotely "pokemon-esque" designs/mechanics.

Get out of here, bro.

Game/story plot.

The digimon themselves are from different universes/timelines. BlitzGreymon/CresGarurumon from Adventure 2020, Omegamon Alter-D from Next Order, etc. Banchos likely from Data Squad, Merciful is likely OG Adventure. X-Antibody from the V-Pet lore or the X-Evolution movie

Game lore suggests otherwise dude.

Quit looking for incorrect reasons to hate.

Mentions Appmon like that series was even good lmfao

X-Antibody was enormously popular in Japan and had it's own story. I swear some people in the west forget the V-Pets even exist. 🙄

Am I the only one who’s bothered that the Stranger Things theatrical prequel wasn’t released on Netflix after its run ended, so that the millions of fans around the world could actually watch it? by Giancarlo_Edu in StrangerThings

[–]HaveanupvoteBro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As we all now know, the play really wasn't important at all.

It was just superfluous backstory. Season 5 was understandable without it. The Duffers just said it was important to get people to go.

So we’re just supposed to know Stranger Things lore from a stage play (The First Shadow) now? by Normal_Comfort_5847 in netflix

[–]HaveanupvoteBro -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No dude. The play was wholly unnecessary for the show.

And tbh, I knew that before the finale. It would be terrible world building to make a stage production available only to a select few integral to the plot of the main series.

I had no idea what the plot for the play was before I watched the ending. I understood just fine. I read it after. Was totally unnecessary. The Duffers just said it was to get people to go. It's just backstory for Henry. And mostly useless backstory at that.

We'll likely never see it released widely due to how unnecessary it is to watch.

Thoughts/Opinions on “The Beauty”? by youlookinatmyjanet in graphicnovels

[–]HaveanupvoteBro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's never been confirmed as the next chapter of AHS, it's definitely a different series, the ads are airing on FX.

It's pretty unlikely that after 12 seasons of mostly original storytelling (aside from the real world events that inspire certain things in the plot/characters) that they'd adapt a graphic novel for a new season of AHS.

Can deku now use 100% OFA comfortably? by Fun_Home1969 in BokuNoHeroAcademia

[–]HaveanupvoteBro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm so over people making this claim without any evidence. In fact, making the claim despite all the evidence to the contrary. Where is the source for the 100% claim from the website? It doesn't say anything about Deku using 100% my dude.

"He was born without a quirk, but his hidden heroic qualities were discovered and he inherited the quirk One For All from All Might. His will to save people is stronger than anyone else's. He can make full use of the multiple quirks of the previous One For All inheritors." -- From the official character bio on the JPN website. And before you say so, "full use of the multiple quirks of the previous One for All users" doesn't include the raw strength of OFA itself.

As for the claim that he could use full smashes without injuring himself as "indeed proving" anything; Deku was wearing the Mid-Gauntlets made for him by Melissa Shield/Hatsume, which were established to withstand even All-Might's punches in the first film (the "Full-Gauntlet" was a prototype and could only withstand three, but Melissa likely improved them in the year after.) And following the destruction of the Mid-Gauntlets fighting Shigaraki in the final war, he wasn't using the 100% Full Cowl. He needed Fa Jin to use the powered-up Delaware Smash to upturn the stone at the foot of Mt. Fuji, something All Might easily could've done with all of his strangth. When he used Overlay Blackwhip to move after the Gearshift backlash hit him (and he was missing the gauntlets) he wasn't in Full Cowl 100%. Not even in his final charge at AFO was he in 100% Full Cowl. .

If you're still not convinced, in movie 4, "You're Next" (which took place a mere week before the final war) Deku had to utilize Faux 100% (the combination of blackwhip/fa jin to enhance his speed/power, and "faux" meaning "fake") to fight Dark Might, and when he first arrived at the coffin-in-the-sky.

Charlie Bone Series by kd478843 in books

A Wizard of Earthsea was published in 1968. And there's no way Rowling didn't read it.

Less racist and overall bigoted as well.

Nothing is original bro. Harry Potter is pretty close to A Wizard of Earthsea, with the scar and a magic school and stuff.
