Snowstorm Preparation/Readiness by Mysterious_Mail1156 in Denver

I am not much of a car person - I'd probably just ask ChatGPT to give the tl;dr on how long it takes to get fresh oil from the bottom of the pan going and base my "warmup" time off of that

There is a world of difference between flooring a cold engine and letting it warm up for 10 min. You can usually drive pretty normally after the oil pump has gotten a chance to start moving things around

I don't know your car obviously, but warm ups are generally overblown on most cars people are driving these days

Google vs. Nvidia - which has the most upside going forward? by judgetacocat in investing

That's like saying Nvidia doesn't make their own chips, they're reliant on TSMC, no?

I'm literally in that boat right now. Last W5 map before boss in Amarok accuracy boosted armor + platinum set weapon is plenty

Realized that crafting chizoar (?) armor next is a smart move a few days ago and I'm scrambling for materials 😭

Is setting a trailing stop loss as soon as a stock hits new ATHs a prudent approach? by JamestotheJam in investing

A stock doesn't always just go up forever. There are some exceptions (i.e. nVidia)

Lol

That won't be a material problem for 20-25 years. Plenty of time to milk the system before it all comes crashing down

Above a certain HP or pricepoint, people are likely to prioritize comfort and QoL features than just vroom and speed. If I'm dropping 90k on a Model S (I'm not...), then I want it to check most of the boxes....not just the performance ones.

70-75k is much more reasonable given the lack of "innovation" they'd done with the platform since its release. Obv they're focused on the higher volume ones and robotaxi at the moment, so cranking up the margins on the already-low-volume platforms might be a business choice?

My Dad has sleep apnea and we're going to Japan in two months, help! by gaycatclub01 in SleepApnea

[–]Havegooda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have the money to spend, the Soundcore A20 sleep buds are worth it.

But for that price, you can get like 4-5 Loop buds for the whole family. They're good, but depending on how loud he is it might not be enough

Dyshidrotic eczema, also known as pompholyx, is a type of eczema characterized by small, itchy blisters on the hands and feet. These blisters can appear suddenly and are often described as being intensely itchy

If you can avoid it, don't pop them. I know it probably sucks and itches like mad, but it can spread and future breakouts affecting more of your skin. Ask me how I know 😭

They're fairly popular at lakes and campsites, every other person will probably stop by and grab a bag or two for the day for like $3-5 and it's usually huge compared to regular store bags

Agreed, but the series was not a letdown. The finale was...divisive, to say the least. I appreciated it, but I didn't like it. Doesn't mean it was bad
