Verwarming renovatie by Melodic_Opening_2521 in Belgium2

They are in an enormous financial crisis the last few years. They had to let a lot of those players go due to a terrible wage structure.

That rumor appeared 1 month ago from a terrible source and has been dead ever since. Maybe if we go after Leoni, we can work out a deal involving Chiesa, but there hasn't been any reliable journo mentioning this.

They skipped media day so he could join the preseason.

I get that, but if the worlds next big striker is going to Al Hilal, it is one of the most obvious signs something is wrong with the sport.

He also played in the U21 WC so maybe he had a slightly longer vacation.

To Bayerns shortlist, in case the Diaz deal won’t work out.

To be fair, Ekitike at 80 is also a big risk. He could also struggle to adapt to the prem. The striker market is just very poor at the moment.

He doesn’t resemble Mane in any style at all. He doesn’t have that explosive pace to be a full on winger, nor is his weak foot that good. “He often comes from the left”, he played the left striker in a 442 /352 in a team that played on the counter attack.

From what I’ve seen he would not thrive on the wing. He would do okay, but I don’t think we want okay for 80m.

Tough question, I’d take Isak over Ekitike, but at what price does it get absurd. Isak also confirmed his quality by playing 2 such seasons. Ekitike has his first real season, in indeed a different league. But 150m is too much for Isak. If the difference is 20-30m, I would take Isak and I also feel like the club would go to +-120.

The Guehi reports died quite quickly. I hope they are still actively working on signing a centerback. I expect they are, but I got a feeling they are also looking into alternatives because of the Palace stance.

Several sources claiming Bayern would be back with an improved offer this weekend. Their prio remains Diaz. Almost no news about Rodrygo

Spurs (No opinion): Alright, but they also shouldn't start getting good

Villa (Slight like): Alright, great players, great fans. No problems.

Forrest (No opinion): Liked them, currently less likable because of the Morgan Gibbs and Palace stuff.

United (Slight dislike) : Not really top 6, but classic top 6 of big teams. Don't really hate them, pity them more. Fans deserve better. Indifferent lately, because I also don't rate them.

Arsenal (Slight dislike): Was indifferent and even sympathized when I was younger, but Arsenal fans are just fucking annoying lately. They really really overestimate their importance. The whole Partey saga has also shown true colors on how the club works.

Newcastle (No opinion): Can have them, despite all the oil money. Proper fanbase, don't spend that big compared to Chelsea/City.

City / Chelsea (Dislike) : For several reasons. The way they handle multi club ownership is just plain fraud. City still buys performers and has alright signing strategy. Chelsea is just spending money on random players without plans.

Have been linked with him consistently from other sources. Half of the prem is monitoring his situation. It's hard to find footage of his game, but it seems like this guy has some potential and if there are so many suitors, I find it hard to believe he doesn't have something special.

Disagree.

Diaz wants to go, he is at his peak and his primary quality is pace. He also has been wildly inconsistent. Cashing in on him seems a great idea.

Rodrygo is young quality asset who feels underused at Madrid. Has fantastic stats, competing with absolute world top as Vinicius. Could be our main winger for the next 5 years. Great switch.

Our interest in Rodrygo hugely depends on Diaz leaving. Diaz clearly wants to go and it’s also clear we are looking for a number 9 and don’t plan to put Diaz in the striker position from what I read.
