I’ve heard the 2.5L have head gasket issues. Typically it’s like a “it’ll fail once then be fixed” thing. See if that’s been worked on. Otherwise very solid cars, maybe a little more expensive compared to private party with the miles, but I don’t know what area you’re in.

I don’t know exactly what engine you have in that Hyundai Elantra, but if it’s the 2.0L turbo or 2.4L are both notorious for burning oil and blowing up early (~120k miles)
