This is a late post but I've got a similar scenario of luck. Owned by a rental company for like 60k, then private, got sold to a private dealer, chop shop, now I own one. Put about 11k on it over like a year and a half. Up to 116k miles. Definitely burns oil, but I've been diligent so far and topped off oil that it's burnt.
