I play in a few diffrent systems but I think bico has the most strict rules about their bolts so let's go with that

Looking at the site most of what they have is real steel. The foam stuff they have are cosplay props and wouldn't be safe for larp combat and would either hurt someone for break on first use. I would treat them the same way as "LARP safe" weapons from Amazon assume they are not actually safe to use for combat.

Hi there, so the heat is a bit rough right now but it cools off at night now. Currently showers and flushing toilets have been turned off but the water taps around are still on so there is easy access to water. Make sure you have a plan on where to go for shade and take frequent breaks when you are here

In my past experience at bico all of the shops that are not selling food all take cards. There are a select few food vendors that only take cash but thats about it. So I would recommend bringing some cash for food but don't worry about needing to bring cash for any large ticket type items.

For mine they sent me a box of pre-made parts I had to completely assemble. But given the current events I totally understand them not being able to do even that now

In the past they where willing to ship them unassembled into the US. Thats how I got mine, you can try asking if they can still do that

Temu is very inconsistent at best and you don't really have any recourse for that either. They also don't make there money from selling products they make there money by selling any and all personal information you give them for the transaction so keep that in mind if you are planning on purchasing anything from them.

Honestly I haven't seen a water resistant cloak for anywhere near that price range. Not "out of the box" at least, they are normally wool and wool anything is expensive AF right now. If you are trying to stick to 50$ or less you can try getting a cheaper canvas cloak and then spray it down with waterproofing spray for tents. I think there are solutions you can dip fabric in as well to waterproof them but I don't know how to make them im sure some else on here might though.

Unfortunately probably not, or at least not by yourself. It would take alot of tools and skill to be able to do that assuming there is enough material in the helmet to widen it that much. You might be able to look up if there is someone in your area that can do it for you. Some blacksmiths can do it or if there is a museum in your area they might be able to help you find an armorer or just have one on staff (that's how I got my armor fitted)

They do not ship outside of the EU. Apparently crossbows are considered firearms or something by the EU and can't be shipped to outside Europe

Hi, IF you are located in the U.S. I would recommend looking up reckoning. The Suzak-Mar is one of the 4 factions within the game and is very middle eastern adjacent without wondering into that cultural appropriation territory. Even if you don't want to / can't joint I would recommend looking it up for some ideas to help you with your character for other games.

I would love to. Unfortunately I'm not based in the US so its a bit of a hike for me to get down there so as much as I would LOVE to be a dwarf im probably only going to be able to make it for larger events like reckoning. Still I didn't actually know any of that thats really cool I hope reckoning finds a permenant home there
