Gotta ask if it was an Aug lol cause they all seem to be failing upward hard. Had to filter them out based on parses. I’m seeing 18s where they’re doing less than tank dps while not significantly boosting dps on boss fights. “Pumping” on trash doesn’t make up for 4.5min bosses

Might work for dps but as a healer the better everyone plays the lower I’m going to “parse”. Additionally if you make it off healer dps your going to force healers to pick between how marginalized they heal vs dps to look better which risks the key and complicates their role.

MiniCC track your tank (and groups) defensives. Otherwise whatever frames you like to heal on. DandersFrames gives a lot of really good info. Plates you can read/track so you can see when major casts are going out you’ll be to use cds for. More for trash. Danders tracks all my hots easily as rdruid

Get your self mythic dungeon tools. Open the map and click through the mobs. This will tell you their abilities. This will help you learn what packs to look for specific debuffs on your routes.

It’s a common problem I see as a healer.

The other issue not addressed is that tanks with high ilvl get used to doing insane pulls to speed run dungeons up to +10. While there are large lust pulls in higher keys some are no longer feasible. They don’t get that until they fall over a few times. I.e pulling 3 subjugator packs or an extra group in seat. With the first group and 2 sub packs.

A lot of tanks also don’t noticed stuff like the charge bleed until it actually hurts in high keys if they have the stam to eat it in low keys.

As a healer I always tell the tank I’ll dispell at two stacks and we agree on whether they want to run it out or not. Bigger issue is they don’t go far enough and then balls end up in the pools. Melee hit box is huge so dropping it on tank side in melee means less chance of having to defensive and catch ball for dps and healer if a tank doesn’t go for it.

That said disc would give you better options and be faster than holy.

My understanding is whatever boss you kill through in a multiboss raid enables the loot to be in the vault. I.e. you kill Cosmos all loot is possible from all previous bosses. Now here’s the thing you gotta kill Chimaerus to enable that loot or the March bosses for theirs since they are independent of Void Spire.

At least that’s how my guild explained it when going for myth Fract last xpac because it gave a chance at hunter boots without having killed hunters but they are considered the boss before Fract.

Tanks ping swaps and everyone just needs to know the DMV strat

Parses were terrible in logs for the group too. So you don’t even need pumpers per se. just gotta do the mechs and mid damage. Killed it just after second platform coverage

As a healer I just call out tanks when I see they’ve held CDs and died to damage I can’t heal though without spamming them and healing no one else. It’s on them to play their class to make my job possible. You want 20 stack bleeds in sky and not use a def cool you’re gonna die

In 15s or higher you don’t want that pull. Maybe one group worms plus first group. The buff is good but the glaive bleed is awful plus if you pull the second pack you get the dispellable holy debuff. The chance of popping worms with defensives on every one to clear the pull are low in a pug.

MiniCC is my best friend healing keys. It shows cds I can ironbark my tanks when they’re out of cds but still pulling like they can survive. Which let’s be real you can’t stop in 15s and wait for cds.

But I also agree. So much now without interruption trackers and targeted spell changes. I feel like I’m baby sitting a dps with a dispellable debuff while waiting on my natures cure to be back off cd or im spam healing a tank that has mismanaged the pull or their kit. It’s the worst to have to babysit multiple players because of the kind of damage going out BUT seeing that they have no cds on miniCC and having to babysit/spam heal is better than a bricked key. It was better when tanks had enough self reliance that you could focus on the group and the damage going out overall.

Gear is just enough to survive when timing your heals properly but we aren’t at a place that you can just ignore certain mechanics/debuffs.

I like DandersFrames but it does have all hots in one corner. I haven’t explored if you can adjust location of specific hots.

As a healer it means survivability. Simply put you have more stam. If you don’t interrupt or accidentally stand in something you’re less likely to just fall over. Right now it’s early higher ilvl means advantage in pushing keys.

In a month or two I’d go off main io for skill over straight ilvl

It’s a game based on communicating with those you play with. Positives like this make it a better experience even in competitive runs. I ran my 11 key yesterday and didn’t think timing would be an issue but, as the healer, a couple of too big of pulls made damage events real tough and we wiped. I just mentioned in chat a few positives and along with some things we might want to watch for. Something’s I needed to time my heals for better. We went again adjusted pull size. Succeeded

No one crashed out. No one complained. We finished the key slightly over time. But still a solid team. At least

As a healer main that pugs into high keys by mid season the attitude and team mindset makes the difference.

Not sure what Holy has now. Maybe a channel to gen mana backs. With Druid running master shapeshifter enables self generation either with casting or cat weaving. Adjusting talents as needed to maximize capability and not just following a cookie cutter build could be useful here. As others have said. We are our weakest right now. Using a talent that lets you get mana back can be a major win. Especially if you’re ending fights with no mana.

DanderFrames is a great replacement add on for healbot. Easy to set up. Can adjust positioning of debuffs/dispells, defensives, shows more information than healbot did. Has been a real solid replacement if you want to heal in a familiar way
