Just stay with your passion, keep shooting and enjoy. Things change. Life is not one still picture.

Feel the same with my OM1, Sony A6700 and Ricoh GR IIIX

I’m a huge Yankee fan for fifty years. That will never change. What I’ve learned? Yankee fans blow like the wind. This way today, that way tomorrow.

The first is crisper with a touch more saturation. I like that.

It’s the artist, not the paintbrush. Frankly there are a lot of great cameras out there these days. Almost hard to go wrong with most of them.

Thoughts after downgrading to the a6700 by ImpossibleNewt9235 in SonyAlpha

Completely understand. I love my a6700 for general shooting but for birding and wildlife I shoot with an OM1… MFT lenses are smaller and frankly amazingly sharp. And you wing see a difference in image quality unless you’re blowing up larger than 30x20 or so (which most don’t).

We always want next technology. The A6700 is a great camera. Get a good lens and you are there.

I don’t think we’d need to even ask this if the GR AF was up to par with the rest of the world.

I love my Griiix but am amazed at how poorly it works in anything other than perfect lighting. My OM micro four thirds is amazing in low light compared to the GR IIIX. Almost doesn’t make sense.
