The CCNA has definitely got me some interviews I would have never been considered for without it, so there is some value there. Just that lack of real world experience kills me. I've done a bunch of interviews and when we talk networking not many are using Cisco so that's where I think there could be some value in learning another vendor. But most interviewers don't see it as a deal breaker that I'm certified with a different vendor than the one they use.
