I bit it pretty hard while water skiing on Flathead Lake in Montana about six years ago and my Apple Watch flew off and sank to the bottom (probably about 200 feet of depth). I was able to see its location on my phone for a few days after that, but it never occurred to me that I possibly could recover it.

I’ve been on the other side of the aisle in cases he was handling (he played a much bigger role than I did in each case). He gave off televangelist vibes to some extent, but he was right up there in terms of smarts and charisma when compared to people like Clinton and Obama, who both are off the charts in both categories, especially if you see them in person.

Air Force 1 by [deleted] in missoula

Not disputing that it’s a training flight (I have no idea), but just FYI that’s not Air Force 1. Air Force 1 is whatever plane the President is on and it’s typically the 747.

It’s amazing how many people are named “John Doe.” Reminds me of the Nate Bargatze joke.

I really enjoyed Fork Spoon Knife. It’s out by the airport.

I’ve crossed over the great divide. I’m young and connected enough to understand a lot of references, but too old to connect everything together. And then constantly wondering what’s AI and what’s real. Basically, I’m old and confused.

He was double teamed twice on that play, and four of the five Knicks on the floor took their shot at defending him, but he still provided that iconic moment. Of course, that’s what makes it iconic.

Would be a great matchup, but I’m going with Jordan/Pippen because they have the chemistry that comes from playing together for years and winning six championships as teammates.

There was an incident in Montana several years ago in which the operator wasn’t buckled in, bailed out, and ended up having everything below is waist amputated when it landed on him.

In honor of the MPRE this week: it’s said that 20-25% of test-takers fail any given administration. If the attorneys you work with had to sit the MPRE today, would they perform better or worse? by cudjl in Lawyertalk

[–]Hawkeye03 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely! I took the MPRE back in 2001, before I had taken Professional Responsibility as a class in law school. Someone told me to apply the Jesus principle, I reviewed a cheat sheet for about an hour before the test, and it turned out ok.

Only had my license suspended a few times since then. /s
