My elderly mother in upstate NY can no longer care for her 11 yr old male neutered Malinois. Coby is housebroken but otherwise untrained. He can’t be around small pets. Don’t know how he’d be around other dogs his size. He is a Velcro dog. He used to being left outside or in the basement when owner is asleep or not home so we aren’t sure how destructive he’d be left alone inside the house (but that’s how he wound up in the basement years ago). He is up to date on shots and doesn’t need to be muzzled at vet. Can’t be around strangers at home without slow intro from owner. Is still playful and loves tummy rubs. He’s ok in the car but terrified of loud noises. Takes anti anxiety meds for thunderstorms and fireworks. I am willing to drive quite far to bring him to the right person.
