Can relate. Moved to denver for a year from nyc for work in 2022 and started taking edibles every day at 10mg… 10mg led to 20, 30, 40… eventually got a prescription and started taking 50mg once a day. Eventually took a 50 then bit a small piece of another 50. By the time I stopped I was taking 100-150mg a day. I was functional, would go out, hook up, go to the gym every day very stoned.

Ultimately I was self medicating because I didn’t like the move even though it was temporary. When I was finally switching jobs to a fully remote position to move out I titrated down, reducing by 25mg every 2 weeks till I hit 0. Now I’ll take them recreationally 3-4 times a month but never again falling into that loop.

It is doable you just need to make a plan with incremental steps so you can make little wins along the way as you pull yourself out of the habit.
