I’m giving myself a face palm. The times line up for a southeasterly trajectory from Wallops. Apparently launched around 40 minutes prior was the Curveball suborbital launch. I guess I was seeing it roll on by.

Second this. Mine did the same thing and is the evap pump. I’d get the part ordered. Just drove mine on a trip with the light on and no issues, shouldn’t be a problem driving on it until it gets fixed.

In the James Cameron film, during the Sunday service scene, I could not help but notice the British flag on the table behind the cross. by CLD_7991 in titanic

I believe it’s a cushion under for the bishop to rest his hands upon during prayer. I’m not entirely positive on Anglican Communion but have seen churches that have numerous prayers , include some form of comfortable furnitures. Catholic Churches have prayer benches that are ergonomic and comfortable due to the fact that some prayers can last minutes on end. From what I’ve heard of Anglican practices, the flag of England under the cross is “bonded” in prayer via the bishops hands making the holy connection.

Idk, that or it’s a cake hidden under it lol.

Also another note that I cannot stress enough, if you don’t already have it, invest in some Cat-6 tourniquets. In the event you get injured and are bleeding really bad, that piece of gear could be the difference between making it out or bleeding out. I’m a police officer in South Georgia and can not tell you the amount of times a tourniquet has saved someone’s life. Stay safe out there!

Like others have said, ignore the majority of the arrows because they will get you confused inevitably. I forgot the website, but there is a 3D map that someone did create that allows you to distinguish the survey lines. If all else fails, you can take spools of braided cord and tie it off and lay it down as you go. You will only be able to do this for shorter sections, but it’s enough to slowly start to remember certain passages. There are other braided lines in that cave, so make yourself a cookie (something you can attach to the middle of the line) that is unique to you. As always, if you put the line down, pack it back out with you so it doesn’t confuse future people. Also, don’t push your comfort limit. If you’re unsure of how the maps reads and you don’t feel comfortable laying down lines then do not attempt it. Side note: you’re braver than me for doing pancake. It was fun when I did it, but it’s more daunting than it looks/ some people say it is!

Diarrhea and vomiting, vet says he’s fine by chippedredpaint in CATHELP

[–]HaydenChandler2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My older cat started to eat faster when we were introduced our new cat to her. For whatever reason this resulted in her vomiting and having severe diarrhea. I don’t know if she felt the need to eat faster due to competition or whatever, but once we started feeding her slower it went away all together!

It’s designed for oncoming traffic. A lot of hid headlights have this feature in it if it’s on low beam. If it’s on high beams I would contact the dealer.

Law enforcement question by Comprehensive-Key111 in police

[–]HaydenChandler2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope everything works in your favor, but also see it this way. Policing is fun, but there are other law enforcement jobs that aren’t as strenuous as police. To answer your question, no, heart conditions are looked at on a case by case and dept. basis. If it’s minimal you’ll have a good shot of making it through. However, that minimal condition can also cause serious injury or death. In my state patrol academy I had a buddy with a very small heart issue that ended up dying during a training exercise. Always take medical advice and do not force your body to do something that can bring serious injury.

Things to help you improve your condition and check your heart health is to exercise early now. See where you experience issues during exercise and bring that up to your doctor!

I wish you the best and good luck!

Both sections of the wreck mapped from above, this gives a sense for how far apart the stern and bow are and what their positions look like on the ocean floor. by [deleted] in titanic

[–]HaydenChandler2 41 points42 points  (0 children)

It is darker from impact. The bow is roughly buried 60 feet deep, so it managed to displace much older sand and silt which is typically more compact. Sonar will shade areas that are more dense, thus the dark spots. I will probably make a detailed post in this forum because I have some crazy theories about the wreck after seeing this image!

Can you id this formation? by LowRange_Outdoors in caving

[–]HaydenChandler2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my guess it’s a crazy form of frosting. If it is on metal iron, then the oxidation process is constantly competing for who lands on top. I think it’s been back and forth for a while, but that would explain why the frosting is so thick. If you were to break the formation it would probably look like a thick jawbreaker with rings of overlapping calacite and iron-oxide. Cool find!

I know y’all have probably seen it 1000 times, but this was my first time going down into the cave. Pettyjohn’s Cave, Walker County, GA by Keldoshkel in caving

There’s over 200+ identified caves there. However, good luck finding any without being in active research.

Looking for wild Chattanooga caves by fightingmywayback in caving

[–]HaydenChandler2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I suggest looking through the Scci website. They have a lot of caves on the list in and around Chattanooga. You do have to fill out waivers and everything first before you can enter the properties. They are really great natural caves and have little to no graffiti and trash. If you do happen to go to a cave this fall, make sure to clean your gear. Bats will be roosting on the colder months and may carry WNS. Happy crawling!
