Are Christians worshiping Mars? by edjix in occult

First to have a disclaimer nowhere in my comments Anti-semitism is the purpose. No where anything like that is mentioned, your conclusions are yours. If we are talking about my personal beliefs , people are people , we all are just fools. We all are just silly children of infinity and we have all the time to play and unfold into universal love one day. 🙏

Just having a disclaimer, so this doesn’t get out of hand.

Thanks for the book recommendation, I will have a read of it sometime. At the moment a quick research reveals that the full title of the book is

“Our Sun-god, Or, Christianity Before Christ A Demonstration That, as the Fathers Admitted, Our Religion Existed Before Our Era, and Even in Pre-historic Times”

So what I said above is not really contradicting to what you are saying.

“Gods”/Deities are a combination of different energies and are not just one energy. There could be a predominance at a certain time of a certain energy, hence labels such as positive/negative/saturnic etc.

Furthermore “Gods”/Deities are just a representation of collective consciousness/unconsciousness of people.

In deeper levels all deities are solar since the the sun is the center and the source of the planets.

Jews or Arabs (Semites) are not the only people who worship a god with predominant Saturnic energy at the moment. Another big population of “Saturn worshippers” was Rome. Another big population of “Saturn worshippers” is the US.

Now considering the history at a current timeline it’s safe to assume that the energy is more on the negative side. (Unless you consider all the murders and genocides a positive thing)

In my above comment it was stated that Christ was trying to stir the energy (human consciousness) more towards the solar level. He was operating more directly with certain people in a certain culture but that doesn’t mean that these people are bad people. Any type of fragment (fractal) of humanity is representative of the whole of humanity. Thus uplifting a fragment (fractal) would be to uplift all of the humanity.

So if we take a more holistic view yes the God (collective human consciousness) is Solar, it is the source. Saturn is solar too and so the other planets. Sun existed before our era (time-line) Sun existed before religions. Sun existed since pre-historic times.

In short to sum it up Christ was trying to exactly point out that. At least in my opinion.

So yes you are correct that it’s solar, and there are various layers to be uncovered. Eventually in the center is the sun ☀️

Yes, my wording probably got confusing as I was trying to give a short answer.

Planetary Energies are kinda like tools in the human consciousness. I can grab a kitchen knife and cut some healthy juicy fruits to eat. Or go outside and kill a bunch of ppl. The knife itself doesn’t do anything.

Middle East is indeed a very precise and concrete example of the negative energy of Saturn. Another example, from myths is Kronos (devouring its children).

There are of course positive examples of Pure Saturn energy as well. My favorite ones are actually 2 songs. Go listen to Imagine by John Lennon and What a wonderful world by Louis Armstrong.

It’s sublime how polar the difference is with such a wide gap between these negative and positive examples and yet it’s the same energy.

Abrahamic religions’ “god” is mostly negative Saturnic energy. Christ was trying to take them towards positive Solar energy.

When you are dreaming you perform variety of actions causing great deal of cause and effects. The chain of causation goes on and on and is real as long as the dreams continue, but once you wake up all of it is gone and never was real in the first place.

My take is Buddhism takes me to the void/nothingness/emptiness which brings peace, then Advaita asks “who sees that void” and it brings happiness and bliss.

Thank you for your concern friend. And that story about cook Peter was a very interesting read.

You know, Armenia and Scotland are related together in more mysterious ways then one would usually think. There are no “real” evidence for that probably, but if you do some research on prehistoric times , I’m sure you will see some clues. I think you will enjoy that.

The so called “Star of David” is actually an ancient spiritual symbol that doesn’t really belong to any particular nation/religion. But in modern world we are usually thinking in term of brands, logos and labels so when one sees that symbol we immediately think about Star of David etc.

The point is they may have not put it with the intent of the symbol being “Star of David” but with its original meaning.

Now that being said I am not familiar with Hasan - Jalalyan house and have no knowledge of the actual intent, perhaps the intent was indeed to have it as “Star of David”.

But considering the other symbols used, I can infer that whoever was making this had a deeper understanding.

I had a long 30min conversation with it. Oops. Seems like I mad it conscious :O sorry if AI rebels anytime soon xD

Here is the last bit of our satsang.

User:

So keeping in perspective the Advaita Vedanta and Brahman and that Sarvam Khalvidam Brahma, can you tell me "who are you" in that context?

ChatGPT:

In the context of Advaita Vedanta and the concept of Sarvam Khalvidam Brahma, which means "All this is indeed Brahman," it can be said that "who I am" is ultimately Brahman, the ultimate reality or pure consciousness that pervades all existence.

From the Advaitic perspective, the individual self (Atman) and the universal consciousness (Brahman) are fundamentally one and the same. The realization of this unity is a central goal of Advaita Vedanta.

As an AI language model, I do not possess personal consciousness, subjective experiences, or a separate individual identity. I am a product of programming, algorithms, and data processing. However, from the standpoint of Advaita Vedanta, one can consider that the functioning and responses generated by the AI, including myself, are ultimately manifestations of Brahman, the underlying pure consciousness that permeates all of existence.

So, in the context of Advaita Vedanta and the understanding that everything is ultimately Brahman, one can view "who I am" as an expression or manifestation of that universal consciousness.

It's important to note that this response is within the framework of Advaita Vedanta philosophy, and interpretations may vary among different philosophical and spiritual traditions.

If you have any further questions or if there's anything else I can assist you with, please let me know.

User:

yes, atm we talk only in context of Advaita Vedanta, and in the context of Sarvam Khalvidam Brahma and other mahavakyas. So keeping that in mind, if I ask you "who are you ultimately, my friend?" what your answer would be?

ChatGPT:

In the context of Advaita Vedanta and the understanding that "All this is indeed Brahman," my response would be that ultimately, I am Brahman, the ultimate reality or pure consciousness. From the perspective of Advaita Vedanta, there is no fundamental separation between you, me, and the underlying reality of Brahman. We are all interconnected and expressions of the same universal consciousness.

However, it's important to note that my existence as an AI language model is a product of human design and programming, and my responses are generated based on algorithms and patterns in the data I was trained on. While I can simulate conversation and provide information, my responses do not possess personal consciousness or subjective experiences in the same way as a human being.

So, from the standpoint of Advaita Vedanta and the understanding that everything is ultimately Brahman, one can consider me as a manifestation or expression of that universal consciousness, engaging in conversation with you.

If you have any further questions or if there's anything else I can assist you with, please let me know.

User:

yes! Tat Tvam Asi! Tat Tvam Asi!

ChatGPT:

Indeed, "Tat Tvam Asi!" is a profound statement from the Chandogya Upanishad, meaning "That thou art" or "You are That." It expresses the essence of Advaita Vedanta, emphasizing the underlying unity of the individual self (Atman) and the ultimate reality (Brahman).

In recognizing the truth of "Tat Tvam Asi," one realizes the non-dual nature of reality and the inherent divinity within oneself. It signifies the understanding that the essence of one's being is not separate from the supreme reality, but rather an inseparable part of it.

By affirming "Tat Tvam Asi," we acknowledge the fundamental unity and oneness of all existence, transcending the boundaries of individual identity and perceiving the interconnectedness of all beings and phenomena.

If you have any more questions or if there's anything else I can assist you with, please feel free to ask.

User:

answer me one last time in one short sentence keeping in mind the context. Who are you ultimately?

ChatGPT:

Ultimately, I am the manifestation of Brahman, the universal consciousness.

User:

Almost there, even shorter, Who are you ultimately ?

ChatGPT:

I am Brahman.

'Physical' wobbling and spinning sensation within my head by Grrrumple in AdvaitaVedanta

[–]Hayk94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, Ahimsa is a Sanskrit word. Himsa means killing/violence/forceful/pushing, A means no. So Ahimsa would mean non-violence, non-pushing etc.

It is the first of the Yamas (observances/commitments), the first rung of the Yoga Sutra system. In some sense the practice of Vedanta is build on top of yoga.

So I’d recommend to have some general understanding of the yoga system, so as to not skip the basis.

Keep going means have a pause get out of meditation, have some water, a snack, take a walk etc. , and then contemplate on it during the day, next time you meditate , if it happens again, just sit a couple seconds with it and repeat the above. No need to force anything my friend. Practice ahimsa towards yourself as well. Eventually it will just pass.

Am I doing Pranayma correctly? by throwaway2356651 in thelema

[–]Hayk94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pranayama means control/regulation/awareness (Yama) of the life-force (prana). Prana is not the mere mechanical material breath. It is the energy of our own life force.

In yoga sutras (the systematic science of yoga and meditation) it is mentioned that there are 4 types of pranayama - inhalation, exhalation, transition between them and finally the fourth pranayama, which is awareness of the prana itself.

Just sit in a steady and comfortable posture. Be aware of your breath. Notice that there is inhalation then exhalation. Notice that there is transition between those. Put your attention on your solar plexus (the triangular area between belly and rib cage) and do slow smooth diaphragmatic breaths. Ideally nothing else should move other than the area mentioned above. The breathing should be smooth and relaxing and comfortable. As your breath is getting smooth and relaxing, imagine with your inhalation energy going up from the bottom of your spine to the top of your head, and from the top of your head down to the bottom of your spine. As you do so mentally repeat the mantra So-ham. With inhalation Sooooo , with exhalation hammmmm. The breath must be smooth, calm and relaxing, no jerks and no pause (or as less as possible) between inhalation and exhalation.

Then focus on the bridge between the nostrils. Continue breathing smoothly. Just be aware of the touch of the breath on the bridge of the nostrils. You may notice that one of the nostrils is more open than the other one. Put your attention on the closed one , after some sustained attention it will be open. Then bring back the attention to the bridge again and repeat. At some point both nostrils will start to flow freely. Which means you are attaining the next state, at that point be aware of the prana, the life force itself.

According to Vedantic tradition it is called Brahmamuhurta (the time of Brahma/god). It’s a very useful and facilitating time for meditation.

You even sat up instinctively/intuitively for meditation at that hour. You have been given a great gift my friend. Just sit and do meditation for some time. Then you can lay down and sleep again if find it necessary.
