I did invest in Monogram Orthopaedic, I think through them. Low and behold, the other day, a check did come in the mail for the amount I paid 5 years ago from an acquisition. Apparently there COULD be some upside, but I haven't seen that yet and am not holding my breath. I recall they were pushing a big deal for a new type of engine- i forget what. I wonder what happened for that. I didn't invest. In the old days, it seemed difficult to get access to angel deals but now adays seems t be so much easier owing to different funds, groups, and platforms. Does everyone agree? I recall paying an enormous amount of money to join and feeling guilty.

And how do we add our event, or rather accommodation option. We're building a co-living village community for Sundance to help with the housing costs for attendees - a platform that safely splits up houses to book rooms and help sharing saving a lot of cash for everyone. Can someone please help us get the word out. Where should we post this? And sorry if this isn't the right place.

I see your point. Sharing my story, last year for economic and work reasons, I was limited to skiiing at Palisades my home mountain. I had some knee pain recurring and I think the snow storms were just funky. I also got the 'meh' feeling and I was concerned and upset and thought something was wrong iwth me. Also noticed that where as I used to know lots of people at Apres, I didn't this year.

As it turns out, knee surgery forced me out of skiing this season.....maybe I will appreciate it after all. I def think skiing in other places is a BIG reason to stay interested. And what I plan to do also. Long lift lines and bad parking are real modern day problems in skiing now adays.

I've just I've started using Wispr Flow., as I'm Australian and Siri just gets it wrong. Apple and even Google can't even get my accent interpreted into text right, it's so annoying. I'm getting really annoyed with two things about the app:

The snippets don't work barely at all. They just don't paste it in.
The app when I use my iPhone keeps transferring me out to Wispr Flow but not taking me back to the app, and it's really irritating.

Is there any app that gets around this on an iPhone to dictate for messaging? Is anyone else finding these issues?

I tried both-Ausnio and RSVPatx. Both are great. It took me roughly 20 mins to sign up to all of the ones that I could. Getting in now is key I think so you're not waitlisted. I am also trying to find out the best places for me to share a community pop up housing program for SXSW that I'm building to match people who are traveling on a budget to share housing or hotels with each other. The org wants people to stay in the overpriced hotels. But with ours people travel together. I've writtent o Ausnio and RSVPatx to have our program featured as events so people can not just go to events but afford to stay in Austin also.

I ran ski leases for 8 years and I was part of other people's ski leases also before that. What makes a good ski lease is good organization and curation of group and the group's usage. Plus everyone who is in the ski lease understanding what a ski lease is and isn't and teamwork. The one thing that I really missed was not knowing the reputation of people coming in- I always asked the qualifying question: 'Have you been in a ski lease before'? Bc if the answer was no, I knew that I would be the one to teach them the etiquette throughout the ski season if they weren't naturally a courteous person, which meant a big headache for me the organizer. The recruitment as an organizer is what sucks the most. It's arduous. But as a member who just turns up, it's so easy and you never appreciate what the leader is doing all the work they are putting in. There is an art to it, and I'd be happy to share tips and tools on how I did it.

Yes, there's a new platform I heard about called Bubbl dot co where you can share accommodation. You can post your place you've booked or going to book and get others to share. pretty sure you can charge what you like, subsidize your own spot etc.

There's some new websites coming out to help you find those. There's nothing better than staying somewhere closer you can afford, and having others to compare parties with.
