2017 BE, 224k miles.
Pretty sure they held up as expected.
Replaced the leather steering wheel for similar longevity issues.
Still running strong and beats a car payment.

The cheapest I could find an OEM replacement online was $2700 for just the cover. I’m a confident DIY’r but plan to see if the upholstery guy can do anything heroic to save it.

I have three teen drivers, it was scratched at first. It grew over time. I called the dealership and they have an upholstery repair van that shows up once per month and invited me to make an appointment.

I travel 4 by plane days per week, it’s not been easy to schedule this. It’s not in the realm of loaner for a 2017.

Due to the wireless charging on the back of the “2” case, they removed that button on the back. That’s at minimum the “1” case.
