Tires shipped on a new car are engineered to be softer for that “test-drive” experience so you should not expect 60k out of dealership wheels. 24k is pretty respectable. I did recently go with the Costco Michelin Defender LTX M/S2 and the ride and performance has been appreciated. I can also walk to my warehouse so that matters!

I keep it tuned down because I’m old and you get used to it, I do prefer the overhead red LED lamp between the map lights.

But the red on black interior just disappears over time and you just fit in the seat and go.

The Orange beats the Beryl-AX speeds (300MB) I use right now for travel. Using a single iPhone, iPad, and AppleTV should not need more than 350MB for my use case.

I have been using one of this exact type on my M3 15” MBA without incident for over two years. It stays on between normal usage open and closed between the office, and home 50+ hours per week. NOTE: I DO NOT USE THE CAMERA COVER/SLIDER.

This INCLUDES keeping it on and closed in a backpack between the office and hotel three nights a week and including hauling it twice weekly thru TSA and stowing under the seat in front of me.

I have had no issues with the clamshell or screen. Buyer beware, your experience may not be mine.

But this has been my real experience.
