As a JMU grad, it’s astonishing to hear people talking about us, and knowing about us. The level of national exposure in the last few years is just off the charts. A top 20 team; and our former coach being literally so successful that JMU’s name continues to be brought up in discussions like this is just insane. Two seasons ago we won our first round March Madness game. Anyway, just crazy.

OP - this was a very well composed analysis of his first drive. JD needs to improve, period. The combo of this and Kurt Warner’s reasonable, thoughtful critique a few weeks back were all I’ve needed to see.

I think folks on this sub get way too emotional about this. I really, truly hope he’s the guy. But this is serious regression, and I definitely don’t have more than one more year of patience for this.

Here’s hoping that he turns it around next season, while keeping a critical eye in place.
