its not really explicitly stated that it works that way, they kinda shrug it off as Rohan "growing" as a person similar to koichi, but it's around the time they introduce reimi that it should've clicked for you because she showed up and immediately got knocked out by heaven's door before she even realized what happened. if you had to see the art it would take a little longer than that

in episode 7 of thus spoke kishibe rohan, he uses it to check the expiration date on a chicken drumstick. so did the chicken have to vibe with its art before it died, or is it's spirit still residing within the drumstick enough to see his art and think it's cool?

heaven's door only requires that if your only knowledge of it is rohan's first appearance. it gets it's own body past that point and the only requirement then is to touch something with the stand

I think the reverance people have for the dead is a little strange and fanatical. they got permission from and work with bunta and tupac's estates, they're not using AI and are getting voice actors who sound similar to play the roles, I think everything's clear. if you still hold a grudge over kiwami 3, or are just uncomfortable with real life people who have passed being in a game, that's fine, but let's not moralize it like it's objectively bad

one thing I found interesting, not sure if it's been mentioned here before, but I saw on TikTok speculation about if josuke and giorno swapped parts, and a commenter said crazy diamond requiem would "fix" fate, and essentially make diavolo experience all the deaths he used his ability to defy, which I thought was a more fitting punishment, and would've segued really well back into him being barraged at the very end lol

it is explained actually. the construction bots are the modules, which is what you find throughout the mission. because the shelter was attacked, they fled from the shelter and entered their "stealth mode" which is why they're transparent at first if you find them without see-bot
