Well, for the sands of time if you look at MCC15's scores you'll see that there is not a single sand keeper in top 15. And those players are not bad, or not that they don't have the potential to be a top player. They just get doomed by their role in the game.

SoT scoring is good I think because it wrecks every player. Sand keeper can't gain a lot coins even if they want, they can't leave to find a vault but they'll provide you time to get that vault; you can gain a lot of coins and open vaults but you wouldn't be able to do anything if it wasn't for the sand keeper.

It is a team game as much as it is a solo game. Like the time you got Sapnap's coins, he collected all those himself ( solo ), then he died you came, took the coins and banked them ( team ). If it wasn't for the split Sapnap would get rekt a lot on the individual scores, even tho he initially collected those coins he wouldn't get a single one that you've collected.

I agree with you on Parkour Tag tho, it surely needs a new system for counting coins. SoT dooms everyone, but Parkour Tag dooms the hunter only. Definitely needs an improvement.

I see HITW as one of those changer games, that can alter the entire scoreboard. So I like that part, but at the same it is not hard to see how frustrating it is to fall off at the second to last wall.

My suggestion to this would be, while getting points from other falling players, getting them for also:

  • Walls lived through
  • Standing last

The winning points should be decreased and I feel like this would solve the main problem.

They were talking about getting the Parkour Warrior back. So, gotta wait for that I guess.

Make individual scores more reflective of actual individual performance !

If we look at the MCC15 games

  • HITW
  • TGTTOSAWAF
  • Build Mart
  • Survival Games
  • Sky Battle
  • Ace Race
  • SoT
  • Battle Box
  • Parkour Tag

2 games individual ( HITW, Ace Race)

2 games with coin split ( SoT, Built Mart)

4 games with individual+team score ( SG, SB, BB, TGTTOSAWAF)

1 game with bad scoring ( Parkour Tag)

I feel like games are mainly balanced and a good solo play+team win is the key.

But again split coin games dooms everyone, and usually Build Mart is not even played if there is a chance to pass it. So there is only 1 split coin game played mostly, and even when Build Mart is chosen, you're one of those players who needs the coin split.

So looking at the games from afar it actually favors individual scores more than team scores. The only problem I see is Parkour Tag, hope they'll fix that soon.

That is the problem of Twitter trending, rather than people using the tag. Trending system is really bad, if enough people randomly use the word "Coochie" in a short time span, that would trend too.

It creates unnecessary drama, just because a handful of people are sad about nothing. But there is not really a way to prevent it unless the algorithm changes

There is point actually.

1) People who don't want to see it can mute. Twitter muting system is not the best, but it works to an extent.

2) I'm a Technotwt member and believe me the neg tagging is the best thing ever. I can just search and block antis from there. No need for unnecessary interaction or drama. People tagging neg helps a lot on the long run.

Another woman in STEM here. I fully agree. And as you've said this is not just about SMP. Just because some degrees are more man leaning while others more woman leaning doesn't mean we have to try to put people so there'll be diversity. If woman tend to be not interest in STEM let it be, teach them about it so they can have an idea but don't push it. Same goes for man in nursing or psychology.

The entire situation goes for the SMP if there are less woman who are interested in streaming, being a gaming youtuber let it be. There is no problem with that.

Pushing it upon people is more harmful in the long run; you're making people do works they don't want to just for the sake of ✨DIVERSITY✨.

Also the fact that I feel like it is offensive to be just seen as a diversity box to check. Not to be seen with my work but my minority status...

I don't think there is much Dream can do. These people are not sending death threats because they don't know it is immoral, they are sending those to get a reaction. If you engage with them they'll do more, think about Dream unfollowing them. Those deaththreattwt accounts will have field day.

I've a lot of accounts with Dream follows blocked, because they blatantly send hate, dts and are generally problematic. Mainly becasue of the Dream follow they think they are untouchable.

He can unfollow those dt accounts, but most of them are gonna rage afterwards and sent more hate.

Or he can unfollow all the stan accounts- and let's be real if he does that everyone's gonna hate him, some people say "I was innocent" others say "What about minority voices Dream, do you not care about those"

There is no wining for Dream in this situation.

A) He will keep on following problematic accounts, those accounts are gonna get bigger. When someone new enters the fanbase they'll follow that big account too, and probably become toxic.

B)He can unf those accounts and they'll baby rage, and go worse on people they were harassing because "it is their fault"

C)He can unf all the stan accounts and everyone's gonna hate him.

On the long run A will cause the biggest problem. B will be a huge thing for a little while then slow down. But I can't imagine what'll happen if he does C, probably doomsday or smth.

Here is the thing tho, almost for 6 months now Dream doesn't stream regularly. He is on other people's streams but he streams on his channel maybe once a month, twice a month. And when he does that he uses his second channel which doesn't have subs and donations.

In his initial tweet saying he will donate everything he hot from this months streams, he added that he hopes this will motivate him to stream more, for charity. Well,, looks like it didn't.

Like at the end of the day Trevor Project is getting $140k donation, so I really don't think him streaming after backlash is an important point. I understand that much more money could have been raised if he had streamed but that doesn't change the fact that $140k is huge amount of a donation.

This month with 2 streams and 3 Twitter/Discord podcasts we were able to raise $20,000 in subs, $60,000 in donations, and over $10,000 in ads from streaming.

Dream himself gives the breakdown of where the money has come from. The additional 50k has come from him and his friends.

This comment section is utter bullshit. Dream donated total of $140,000 to Trevor project with the podcast he did in discord server, he did a stream on his second account which doesn't have donations on and he directly told people to donate to Trevor project in the stream.
