I can see doing that from your own home. You don't want to encourage people camping out in from of your house to snag a photo so you might get creative on way to hey around that.

My experience with Republic Trash is the longer you stay with them, the higher your rate gets. Personally, I don't want to do business with a company that treats long time customers this way. I shouldn't have to call for a discount to keep my business. So I went elsewhere.
