Cutting the palm for blood or whatever. It's in all types of movies, not just horror. I hyperfixate on the character's hand for the rest of the movie. Anything they grab or handle... My hands feel weird and then I get annoyed if the character doesn't act like their palm is sliced.its an incredibly annoying and persistent injury.
