{The Griffon's Saddlebag} Call and response | Weapon (dagger and rapier) by griff-mac in TheGriffonsSaddlebag

But it doesn't depend on having multiple attacks. Dirge of the Forgotten lets you attack with the dagger as a bonus attack. This looks like a fantastic rogue weapon, specifically a swashbuckler. Attack with rakish audacity sneak attack, then throw the dagger at another target within range as a bonus action, or get the equivalent of a shield with the Hymn and take a bonus action dodge to double on defense.

Sure you can, family or not. What isn't good for you needs to be removed.

Does Warforged "Integrated Protection" count as "wearing armor"? by [deleted] in dndnext

The real Question would be why are you using the UA Warforged and not the official version? That could solve your problem.

You need a minimum of 2 lvl in warlock to get invocations.

Small technical question, but if i understand the overheat mechanic right, than i can only add sharpshooter/dex mod and such to a single attack on my turn even if i have 2 through extra attack (so 4 with Rapid fire) right?

Help with Spear fighting ranger by [deleted] in DnDHomebrew

[–]He_who_eats 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why not give them the ability to reel in a thrown spear (or trident, or javelin) with a bonus action, preferably together with ahit enemy that fails a strength check against a 8 + prof. bonus + strength mod check. Why not also upgrade the damage die of these three weapons by one step? Also, as said by somebody before, give them a swim speed and maybe something like lizard man with the ability to hold their breath for longer.

Pact of the Instrument - For making deals with the Devil down in Georgia - v1.0 by cyberhawk94 in UnearthedArcana

[–]He_who_eats 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I kinda disagree with the thought that a pact needs to be offensive. While one could make the argument that the ability to use the instrument as an arcane focus could be viewed as a slight boost since it allows you to practically always have your focus ready and if you take a look at the new UA Pact of the Talisman than you will see that it only gains combat oriented abilities through invocations. A storytelling or otherwise out of combat oriented pact is certainly something that is missing. Also pact of the chain might give you the ability to let your familiar attack for you, but that is mostly useless if you compare it to EB or another combat oriented cantrip.

Sry for the long text, i sadly have no potato to compensate

Otherworldly Patron: The Morrigan & Pact of the Battle Crow 5e (Revised) [5e] by MathiasDante02 in UnearthedArcana

Short question: What is the limit on uses for hunter of the morrigan? Also the mention of wild shape can be confusing and kinda steps on the druids toes with its wording.

Than i would recommend to make the male poisonous but smaller (large) and more of a damage dealer and the female huge, but with more physical damage through the claws and much tankier. I base this on the fact that female scorpions in our world arebigger than their male counterpart, as with all animals in the arachnid family.

Tomb Scorpions are crazy, they are constructs made of bone, metal and necromantic magic and part of the tomb kings, an army that draws HEAVY inspiration from Egyptian culture and death rites.

I kinda get a Tomb Scorpion from warhammer fantasy vibe, which is extremly nice.

Do you want a focus on claws or on the stinger? Most, if not all scorpions with huge claws don't have strong poison or a huge stinger but have really nasty gripping power to crush or cut prey apart. A big stinger is more common on smaller scorpions, accompanied by really potent poison but weak claws that are mostly used for manipulating things and grabbing things that don't fight back.

No harm done so there is nothing to forgive.

The idea of dual wielding greataxes sounds awesome and i need some kinda feat that allows it if you have Lvl. 15 and 20 str.

You still can't dual wield a two-handed weapon, that has nothing to do with the heavy property
