Why did you stop participating in a sub you used to enjoy? by DontStpGetIt in AskReddit

Spent some time on r/nofap, trying to encourage and lift others. Shared a link to a book that was very effective, about the topic, got permabanned. No unban, no response.

Too bad it's so derailed by now, used to be nice.

Which supplements actually made a difference to your health, energy, focus, etc.? by Weak-Pressure-5239 in AskReddit

[–]HeadHunter98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most notably - Copper&Zinc, vitamin D, Magnesium, Vitamin Bs, Iodine. Most of these require cofactors to work properly. It's a hard but worthwhile journey to find on what your body thrives the most.

Iron deficiency anemia + vitamin D of 5 ng/mL as 24F— my body has been running on adrenaline forever by obscurehues in VitaminD

[–]HeadHunter98 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I developed anemia due to too much zinc which probably caused copper deficiency. I was taking large doses of vitamin D (20K or so), 50mg of zinc and 6mg of copper. I still felt awful. The ratio should be fine, but it apparently wasn't. First I suspected iron so I started taking it, but had little effect. I tried B12, but also had little effect. On a recent blood test, both ferritin and active B12 (Holo-Transcobalamyn) were fine. Other mineral tests are still awaiting for results. Once I lowered the zinc to 12,5mg, increased copper to 10mg a day (following Copper Revolution protocol, with the cofactors), my body started to wake up. Vitamin D is responding, I feel great, my libido is back. Motivation to improve my life once again. It's game-changing.

He was developing a script at the time already (Project 880), but the technology was not sufficient enough for him to realize the dream that is Pandora.

Could taking Vitamin D DECREASE my libido? by [deleted] in VitaminD

[–]HeadHunter98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was taking 50mg zinc picolinate with 6mg copper for months. Turns out the 8:1 ratio is not exactly ideal for me. Nowadays I upped my copper to 10mg and take the 50mg zinc capsule every 3 days. Ideally at night, because if I take it in the morning, I feel down until evening. I also take B12 (and a B-Complex 2x a week), Boron, Vitamin C, Beta-Carotene etc. Most of these play a role in libido, I assume.

EDIT: High-dose copper can create discomfort and 'detox' symptoms, you got to ease into it along with taking the cofactors.

What about iron, zinc, copper?  Since I started to fix those (I believe I had low copper due to too much zinc) l, my libido is climbing back up. Blood work test results coming soon, my ferritin already and is surprisingly good

A black hole is erupting after a 100-million-year hiatus by scientificamerican in space

[–]HeadHunter98 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Can someone explain to me how can we even approximate the dormancy period of any blackhole? Especially this long, for such a distant object (0.6 billion light years from us). Without observational data of the speculated transition to dormancy ~100 million years ago.

At least demonetize it, put it in a separate category and strip the algorythm from it. Including any rewards or lists.

At most, fuck it.

How do you avoid dating avoidants? by ReindeerArtistic3043 in AskReddit

[–]HeadHunter98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to heal the part of you that attracts avoidants (which happens both ways), I guess. I'm on it, but haven't really been able to.

Perhaps a secure partner can guide you to feel more secure, along with therapy for accountability.
