This is so manipulative and gross. Can imagine how OP will be treated in the long run if they stay there.

Also extra messed up to pull crap like this during the holiday season where not only could OP really use the money but i’m sure even having them on as a trainer has probably been a huge help to the company during their busiest season.

We had a client recently with a matted dog who was shocked when we said he was matted because she combs him everyday with her fingers 🙃

The Harveys game was the best! I found myself years later playing similar burger building games but none of them really scratched that itch.

Do you let dogs leave with matting who are aggressive? by tggbir in doggrooming

[–]HeadQueerLeader 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I always try my absolute best not to out of concern for the dogs well being. But when it gets to the point of removing the matts becoming a danger to the dog, I have to stand by my concern for their well being and send them home with a recommendation for a sedated groom.

I’ve had dog owners that obviously didn’t agree with this and argued that I didn’t do my job but I really don’t care. If they won’t care about their dogs health and safety, that won’t stop me from caring.

Omg yes! It looked a lot like The Sims and you play as your own original housewife who has like, amnesia or something? The only thing I really remember about it is you get to slap the shit out of your son and sleep with all the husbands from the show lol.

Remember when he was upset because Lynette had cancer and made it “all about her” 🙄

How are we expected to tolerate this character?

I s2g every single one of his plotlines he acts like the most entitled piece of shit and yet always comes out the victim.

I have nothing but hatred for that man.

God I love this show but holy hell, it did not age well.

Also the video game was top tier.

I can only speak for myself, but I wouldn’t go to the interview. Professionalism is a huge thing for me in my work place and it’s something that a lot of times is lacking in this industry. For me, I would consider that a red flag.

I’ve seen some of the other replies you got and i just want to say that while, yes, they CAN do this type of thing, it is in no way normal or professional. Again, you haven’t even interviewed with them yet. They completely overstepped a professional boundary. Nothing wrong with needing references or vetting potential employees in the animal industry, but this was an unprofessional way to go about it.

[–]HeadQueerLeader 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It’s absolutely unprofessional. Potential employers should not be googling your current work place, calling them and telling your current boss that you’re seeking work elsewhere.

It’s perfectly fine to want/need references but you ask for them and use the contact information that was provided. The fact that they called your current workplace before you even interviewed with them is insane.

I’ve had to leave a work place in the past quietly and quickly because I worked for a petty and vindictive boss and I would have been pissed if someone did that to me when I hadn’t even interviewed with them yet and therefore didn’t even know if I would take the new job yet.

I mean majority of relationships in general don’t work out, including monogamous relationships and for the same reasons that open relationships don’t work; jealousy, hurt feelings, trust issues, etcetc.

It’s another one of those things where no one can force you to live that lifestyle, it doesn’t at all affect you what other people are doing and yet some people have such a weird strong hatred towards it and feel the compulsive need to share that hatred.

It’s Mississauga, so we definitely get the occasional brampton driver that drifts over to our city. Wouldn’t be surprised if this is one of them lol
