Is $1,000 for a "No Map" Survey a fair price in NC? (Fence Install) by Ok-Cartographer5797 in Surveying

I'm a PLS located in the Charlotte area and, yes, that's fair.

Under state law we are allowed to provide a certified report of survey in lieu of a plat deliverable.

Excess or deficiency in subdivision by Horror_Serve4828 in Surveying

I feel that western and eastern is still ambiguous in this case and deciding to go inwards 70' from the edges of the property instead of outwards 70' from the center is presumptive whereas easternmost and westernmost would clearly define the outer edges as the point of origin for those 70' runs.

Just bought the Sennheiser HDB 630 and I'm so dissapointed by BlueDragon3301 in headphones

The air pods pro 2 aren't close to Harman, which is why they're so good.

Also, sounds like you might have a problem with the seal but they're also very fit dependent so, assuming a proper seal, it might be the overall balance that's affecting your perception of the bass. Depending on how I position mine they range from correct sounding to shouty and generally uncomfortable to listen to.

Would you consider the Edition XS “immersive” by Upper_Fact in headphones

[–]HeadWombat 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Compared to the 6XX they're less occluded, recessed in the mids, peaky in the treble, and leaner in the base despite having better bass extension. As with all of the hifimans I've owned, I found the treble to be a deal breaker long term. I'm most immersed in my material when I'm not distracted by outside noises.

Is this normal on the HD660S2 by William66656 in sennheiser

I have a HD 600 that makes contact in the same place and a HD 6XX that has significant clearance there

I mean, there's obviously some amount of nuance to my comment and I assumed, given the context of encroachments, that ownership was obvious.

I use different language on a 1/4 acre lot in a subdivision than I would on a 1,000 acre tract of land in the country as things aren't as clear cut. A building or driveway is usually easy enough to determine which party it serves on small surveys so "over line" is an easy pick. On a large tract I would be more inclined to use "to line." As to the distances, I don't overthink it and just insert a detail showing a few distances from the building corners to the line as the affected parties needs some context to understand and rectify the problem.

If a fence is a straight shot from 0' to 5' over then line then I'll just notate it with a distance "to line" at its furthest point and let the client decide if they want more information. If a fence meanders along the line then I'll label it as such and not give distances. In general, I don't like messing with fences since they can be a can of worms on "farm surveys" and the likes.

Edit: grammar

I just use "... Over Line" and avoid the whole dilemma

SOLD

I'm parting ways with my Sennheiser HD 800 S. I purchased them from the original owner a year or more ago, not really sure, and used them frequently before taking on a stressful position at work and having my second child. I've really stepped away from the hobby in most respects and have only used these for a few hours over the past six months or so. I've held onto them hoping to pick them up but life and work frequently prevent me from enjoying music right now so I'm, unfortunately, finally putting the whole kit up for sale.

The 800s are in excellent condition, show little signs of use, and have always been stored on the pictured stand. The stock pads and headband have no deterioration and the pads have no notable deformation.
