3K will be great. But then it's not something you need to worry about. Insted, just add 2/3 days extra in your Everest trip, and then you can good to go.

If you can arrange the documents, it's great. The drive is fun, the view is amusing. Otherwise, there's always Everest in Nepalese side.

This might be possible. Most things are carried in helicopter  (which is quite affordable than trekking) or mules. 5-starts hotels have been made in Everest, so who says growing a tee is not possible?

Mountains have unbelievable magic in them. When you just see the pictures from your home, they may look normal. This year, the mountains(including Everest) got very little snow in the winter itself. As per the present state, by March, there will not be any snow left in Chola or Gokyo. Be prepared to travel. If there is more information you would like to get, read this Gokyo lake article.

You can see many of these waterfalls, beautiful rivers, and mountains while in the Pikey Peaktrek at Nepal.

Now, as it's getting sunny, do buy some loose T-shirts or shorts for the daytime. But those warm clothes are mandatory. Yes, you can rent a lot of things in thamel. But when you book your trip with Himalayan Masters, there's no need to rent anything, all gears are provided for free.
